According to this table, clb 5 for tef is equal to delf B1. Alliance Français prepares students for B1 exam and the standard number of learning hours required is 450... Less than six months if one puts in 20 hours a week. Just trying to make things less abstract for anyone considering boosting crs with tef. 1 Like

Ehyah, Uncle Blue Biro, This your friend's case is pathetic o. Actually, the reason why I asked the people concerned about Cyprus PCC is because of the form to be filled and other stuffs that I don't know how to post the form here cos I'm not a computer guru, My post was actually removed and I don't want to be banned, I'll post the info that I have here and we can take it from there, I'm still in the process o, I've not gotten mine either. mcstan18: |

Hello Cyprus People, Here is the info, was actually excited when I got something that looks like a positive response from their representative office in the US and I immediately announced it on the forum until I read the part that states that you have to legally reside in the US or Canada(I weak) anyways, Here is the plan, send a mail to that address, you will likely receive this same response and send another mail again pleading with them that you don't reside in any of those countries stated above and get a rejection mail....Lol, that rejection mail is what u will provide when CIC ask for prove, I learnt it worked for someone, so let's try. Goodluck From: Washington Representative OFFICE <Washington@mfa.gov.ct.tr> Date: Wed, Mar 28, 2018, 19:17 Subject: RE: POLICE CHARACTER CERTIFICATE FROM NORTH CYPRUS Dear Applicant Please find below the steps you need to follow to obtain a criminal record certificate from TRNC authorities: 1. Fill the first page of the attached form. Do not fill the second page. Print the form two sided. You need to fill out this form in the presence of a Notary, who will seal&sign and certify it that the signature belongs to you. 2. The following supporting documentation is also needed: a. Passport size photos (4 photos), with certification behind them stating the picture is actually you. b. A simple statement from you with your signature at the bottom, telling us what exactly you need, when / for what reason you lived in North Cyprus, and why you need it, with your contact info at the bottom. c. If you have been a student in North Cyprus, a copy of your diploma or a letter proving that you were a student can help speed up the processing of your application. d. A copy of your passport's front page and the first pages with information about you. (also if you have the pages in your old passport that show when you entered and left the TRNC, that might speed up everything again.) e. You will need to get a cashier's cheque in the amount of 40 USD. The check cheque should be payable to: TRNC Washington Office. It is your responsibility to check with the Bank to ensure that there will not be any intermediary fees that need to be paid from our end. We do not accept any other form of payment. Cashier’s Cheque only. 3. Include among your documents a pre-paid and labelled FEDEX envelope (pre-paid envelope) so that once your certificate arrives we can send it back to you. Pre-paid envelope should be by FEDEX. If sending from Canada, make sure that the FEDEX return envelope is prepared according to the courier’s instructions. Prefer a computer printed return label on the envelope instead of hand filled label. If you are not legally residing in the United States or Canada your application will not be processed. 5. Expect a 2-3 period months to obtain your certificate. 4. Once you gather up all these documents and have the attached form notarized, send them to: TRNC Washington Office 1667 K Street, NW Suite 690 Washington DC, 20006 TRANSLATION OF THE FORM: Translation of the attached form: (We don't have it in English) (Use this translation as a guide to complete the original form. No need to fill this section in English, it’s for your easy reference only) 1. Name-Surname .................... ID No: (N/A for you) 2. Father's name: 3. Mother's name: 4. Place of Birth: City: 5. Date of Birth: 6. Your address when you were in TRNC: (full address) 7. Occupation (your job now): 8. Military service info (N/A for you): 9. To add to your 9b, one can just easily do a post graduate diploma course with NOUN which is for 2 semesters or masters which is for 2 or 3 semesters and admission is actually on now and you would be through before the year runs out, no strike(modified). dane15: 5 Likes |

Will seriously consider the bolded...I've also heard that french...especially the TEF is difficult. I'll just give it my best and see what comes of it. It's not really new to me though...I almost wrote french in my WAEC but opted out at the last minute (To the chagrin of my teacher then...I can just see him laughing at me now) Thanks a lot for your advice Tojued: 1 Like |

vickertony: - Yes, you must have the complete PoF or more but never less. It's approximately CAD12,500 not CAD12,300 - Yes, people have gotten PPR with one year NYSC experience. You need to check your eligibility first since you have just one year work experience. - Don't worry, Rome wasn't built in a day. You'd get there in no distant time and start troubleshooting other people's problems too. 7 Likes |

Please dowe have anyone who got rejected by cic as regards obtaining a work permit as a caregiver, ... would you kindly let me know how you dealt with the rejection by CIC? like the letter would say you can reapply...did you reapply and did you get the work permit to work as a caregiver in canada? I could need some help with how to handle interviews , having gotten the LMIA from the employer and and all necessary documentation was included in the application to cic, and during the first interview the high commissioner took off by asking me question as regards childhood diseases in canada and how to handle them as a caregiver( which was not what I was expecting) , this and many more absurd questions were asked and that application was rejected... Please can someone with experience, who has gone through this (or knows someone who has gone through) caregiver route successfully engage me?Thanks |
