A teenage Gabonese man has reportedly been arrested by the police after killing a pharmacist working on at night inside the chemist. According to reports, the young man is in police detention.

According to users online, they plead to the police to carry out through investigation before judgment because the arrested man is too young to commit a murder saying he would have an accomplice who probably fled after committing the crime.

the boy might have been guilty ...

The lady probably resisted robbery seeing that the robber is a kid and won't look deadly ....but it went the other way after the boy must have sensed the danger of him being captured by the Lady if he doesn't do something to escape. so he had to strike hard and deadly.

my thoughts...

This is what happens when a society defaults in its duty in disseminating affordable or accessible education to all. If the boy and his presumed accomplice had been better educated, the story would not have been this gory nor ugly. This is why education must be a necessity and available to all. Our school must stop the idea of this child is not good for school, this child is not good for that course or this course.

To me, only mischievous, incompetent and sadistic academicians are the ones in the league of such thoughts. Most people who perpetrate such gory vices and lawlessness are usually the ill educated or the relegated ones in the society which will continue to be a threat to the larger society. Imagine the boys involved in armed robbery, kidnapping or hostage taking, picking pocket, arson, communal clashes and tribal killings, vandalization of government property are usually these relegated and neglected juvenile delinquents in our society.

Its so bad now that even the educated ones taking their share of the cybercrime proceeds with this society rejects and back drop. Its our collective responsibility to be sensitive and responsive about the needy around us because in their lack and helplessness, these are the real needy and bleeding hearted and crying Jesuses of our time. a disservice to their plight is a disservice to God. Helping them does not mean giving them money but there are 1001 ways to do that. It is senseless to always wait for government to do all the fixing. We would always have them among us and a blind eye or deaf ear to their plight could pose a big threat or danger to our survival or to those of our loved ones

Sadly even in the West where education is available, there are still many efulefu. Criminals and miscreants. Many kidnappers are actually educated. When Pete Edochie was released by kidnappers, he appealed to govt to create jobs. Because the kidnappers were educated but jobless.

Yes nobody should be left behind. But as we all know, govt cannot even help many brilliant young succeed yet. Much less those that need much more assistance. We are not there yet.
