Gimba Kakanda was a staunch supporter of President Buhari. See what he wrote on twitter recently and what he wrote when President Buhari was elected in 2015.

We all saw from our side that buhari was just another dullard with no functional but obsolete brain.
His only achievement is nepotism and empowering Fulani herdsmen.

You have done well... we all make mistakes, go and sin no more.

The same way you galvanised people to vote him in, please do same aswell to vote him out.
Imagine a verified twitter handle feeling the state of the economy and apologising, how about the poor multitude in that divide.

Many honestly believed Buhari will be the Messiah, including me.

Many who thought they were voting a tiger ended up with a milk licking cat.

Buhari = the greatest disappointment ever.

I was also vindicated about Jonathan despite all my appeals to friends and family not to vote an obviously clueless man in 2011. Meanwhile this was the same Jonathan I campaigned for on social media and within my party of friends in 2010, to ensure he was made Acting President when Turai Yar'Adua was using her vegetable husband to play with the destiny of Nigeria.

Those friends of mine were also disappointed and were the ones who ensured he was sacked in 2015.

Yes I supported the rightful handover to a vice-president in the event that the president was indisposed. However Turai and her husband's kitchen cabinet wanted to continue to run the government in the name of a sick and handicapped Yar'Adua.

By the time Jonathan eventually moved from acting and became president in April/May 2010 when Yar Adua died, I only needed him to spend less than a year to realise I had only rightly campaigned for a clueless man to rule.

So when it was time to vote in 2011, I warned all those who settled for the tales of "I had no shoes" "he is a Christian", " he is a minority".

I did not even need to rub it in when they were the ones who wondered how they could have voted for such an empty headed PhD clown.

They were the ones who sacked him without thinking twice.

The same way some needed only 6 months to realise that Buhari did not have the will or courage to save us from corruption or be a fair and broadminded leader.

This is what happens when you pay no attention to the history of your country.

If only he was not blinded by emotion, Buhari's performance both as military head of state, and chairman of PTF would have told him that Buhari is empty and has nothing to offer.

Guy, you are notorious for twisting stories and distorting facts. You are not discerning at all! Now compare your Buhari and Jonathan. Rather than tell lies here, why can't you remorsefuly repent and apologize to your fellow Nigerians for being instrumental to this Buhari plague we are suffering?

Why are you hurt that most who voted Jonathan also regretted their actions and sacked him?

Did people who voted him in 2011 not vote in another candidate 4 years later?

Why can't you just accept that a failure was sent packing just as the failure called Buhari would be sent packing? Why is it so hard to accept that the PDP is a useless party as APC has also shown itself to be?

If you are one of those who voted Jonathan in 2011, just apologize and move on with your life.

That you are suffering now does not mean you did not suffer in 2015 when Jonathan had to empty the treasury to buy the votes of same people who voted him without having to empty same treasury in 2011.

Have you compared your Jonathan to Yar'Adua before him?

What commodity did you buy in 2015 that was same price you bought in 2010. Was Petrol at the filling station the same or was Naira exchange rate to dollar the same? Was the foreign exchange reserve the same or the excess crude oil account balance?

Do you know what it means to sack a president who was regarded internationally as an ineffectual buffoon?

What facts do I need to twist about a harsh reality that led to a sack?

It is not my fault that you do not have a retentive memory.

What did you see that made knew all this just 4 month after confirmation? Someone was made a substantial president in April/may and by October when campaign started you had already knew he was clueless....what was the yardstick for knowing this...if you had said after 2011 election or by 2012 of subsidy removal, it would have made sense but 2010? That's too farfetched cos I believe there is no way you would have known that...please enlighten us into your thinking, I especially wanna learn

1.He tried to give money to the SNG led by Tunde Bakare who visited him after he had started his presidency upon Yar'Adua's death. The SNG rejected it, but many who had been visiting did not reject such waste of public funds.

2. After the Oct 1st 2010 bombing at Eagle Square Abuja, he tried to exonorate MEND from the attack on the sole reason that his fellow NigerDeltans could not do such to a government of their own (Only to forget his own script and betray that position publicly in 2015 while campaigning and revealing his presidential security knew about the planned attack specifically by MEND, so they hurriedly took him out to safety), and rather wanted to use such incident to rope in IBB and some other Northern presidential aspirants in the PDP. He even got Raymond Dokpesi (who at that time was an IBB campaign coordinator) arrested concerning that very bombing. He showed himself too early to be clannish and not ready to be impartial where it concerned his own ethnic stock. This incident and his later revelation showed how twisted a mind Jonathan was to use an incident he already knew the details and identity of the perpetrators, to try and rope in his political opponent within the same PDP.

3. His government promised that before the end of that year 2010, that power would be stable. By November, his government was singing another song and had shown itself to be dubious.

4. Just as Buhari began showing himself to be mentally bereft of any brilliance from the early days of his government, Jonathan who was now in the spotlight as president rather than the saving shadows of vice president, showed that he was totally clueless about his own office.

5. While Buhari and Tunde Bakare were campaigning, a senior member of the Jonathan campaign said Bakare being born a Muslim and now a Christian, deserved to be killed for daring to abandon Islam. A Christian Jonathan who was president did not deem it fit to denounce such from his campaign team. After his victory, he appointed such an obnoxious mind to higher office.

It would always be remembered that he avoided the presidential debate where other top contenders made their pitch to Nigerians, he rather settled for a government media sponsored session with DBanj.

You do not need a 4 yr term to realise that someone you looked up to is useless. Those who voted Jonathan realised this, just as those who voted Buhari also realise same. Both groups voted their choice despite protestations from fellow Nigerians that turned out to be valid.
