Exactly sir, is like transporting a 9month pregnant woman for that distance( bad road) and u expected her not to have cramp.

I have recorded over 1500 death. Prior to that time I used injection powder that someone introduced to me when I saw that they were not active. But whole thing started 3 days after I used the injection powder.plz anyone with an idea that can help.

what do you noticed in them? Swollen stomach or body peeling etc? Hope you don't continue feeding them when they were dropping?

Okay. Buy floxinor mix it with 10 litres of water and sprinkle it to their water in the pond, drain the water the follow day and replace with a fresh one. Anytime the mortality is getting very high floxinor is very active if it's a bacteria not body peeling. I guess injection powder you used initially should be procain pellicilin it is very strong antibioics. We need to treat what actually the problem. Good luck!

. Theirs a professional way of packaging female broodstock for a long journey that won't affect them. But I still advice my clients not to use them immediately, give the a week to acclimatize and also disinfect them. Yes we have gravid females in ibadan ... and we do send to Abuja markudi.lafia n it's environs...

Hello guys, CAFAN in Akwa Ibom just introduced an Anchor growers scheme in the state for 1000 farmers.
It is a CBN loan that will involve a company giving farm inputs to farmers and buying all the fish during harvest
The summary of it all is this:
1. You will be given at least 5000 juveniles @ N40 per one = N200,000
2. You will be given 150 bags of a Nigerian feed at N6000 per bag =N900,000
3. cash for the farm management n salaries
Everything will sum up to about 1.3m
Note: you will not be given physical money but the inputs will be supplied to you.
At the end of 3 months, the uptaker will come and harvest your fish and pay N500 per kilo
You are meant to have atleast 3250kg of fish at harvest to qualify for another loan.

if 5000 juveniles eat 150bags u can't have 650g. 150bags= 2250kg of feed, divide it among 5000 juveniles of say 10g body weight. Wat u will have is. 450kg max. The price they r buying is low if u r gonna make any profit @ all. Then seed price is on the higher side too max juveniles should be #25. If u wana do melange (3months) target u need to stock higher... on 10000 juveniles book @ least 3.2toons of feed and u will have them weighing 300-350g per fish...

aerator is not the solution.... pls wenever ur fries are @ 2 going to 3weeks be very vigilant, this is a common phenomenon and it's cos @ this period along of their organs are coming up n this use up a lot of oxygen in that water body. Apply chicken oil or palm oil on the water and ensure they r less crowded.

You need an aerator also my broda, don't play down the relief it would give you.

u don't need aerator that early rather ensure flow through @ low pressure.

put water in the tank for 7days with dried plantain leaves or any organic fertilizer such as supergro.discharge d water after 7days. Rinse off with clean water u can stock the following day but make sure u check ur water parameters too.
