Which Federal University did you have your PG?
Are you saying State owned Institutions and Private institutes are better at PG level?
Cos I don't want to waste my money and time in a futile endeavour.
Thanks

UNN PG studies is better but it all depends on the student,I started my M. Eng (Civil Engineering) studies by January 2016 though proper lectures started by the last week of February 2016.
By December 2016 I completed my course work(11 courses). According to my Supervisor,he said if I'm serious and fast that I will be done with my Thesis latest March 2017. If that happens that means I did my Masters under 12 - 14 months. The lectures in my department are good , though I can't say for other departments.
I'm commencing this year. Got late admission into M.Eng

No, I was rejected. They said something like ' you erasmus mundus scholarship for the 2017/2018 fall entry for the month of september is rejected'. But the consortium asked me to write them for some other sorts of available scholarships for that same program, stating my motivation and financial status, on or before 5th of May. Which I have done and they have also acknowledged receipt. Thats it for now.

Don't be so quick to downgrade Nigerian universities.

I am an Erasmus Mundus student here in Romania and due to the broadness of my program, I do attend courses in many departments. But mostly with MSc agribusiness students.

In the MSc Agribusiness (Department of Economics) students here take a Statistics course that I have done back in FUNAAB at 100 and 200L and I can tell you most of them have no idea about it. The class makes me look like a very brilliant student because it's so easy for me and funny thing is I'm not offering the course and hate statistics but only attending it because I like the professor (I think she's hot and I like to see her face).

The professor for one of my courses hasn't even attended any of the classes. We don't have the lecture notes (He always promises to send them but never will). Exam starts in 2 weeks, I wonder what we're going to write or how we're going to be graded.

The differences is just that the intensity of courses in Nigeria is much higher but here it's much practicalized. You go on trips, sent on observation, perform case studies etc and you're basically seated in front of a WIFI computer in Classes and you better have good computer+Microsoft office skills.

Before in Nigeria, I was a shy student. But after 3 presentations/week in Romania, you can be rest assured the stage fright is gone. Also the classes are conducive and not too populated (Well, since only 20% attend the classes. I meet the other 80% in Pubs and Coffee shops and they introduce themselve as my colleague)

Hi bruh. Pls i intend applying for ERASMUS MUNDUS MASTERS DEGREE, Can I PM you? I have some lingering questions to ask.

Last year, my friend was admitted into the school and all the students were funded. But this year, I was admitted and the school demanded that we should pay 7500$ as most of us were offered partial scholarship. But if you are a female, you stand a better chance because most female were fully funded.

Thanks for this reply. I wanted to apply for the program but I didn't understand how to go about it. $7500 that's a huge sum of money for partial scholarship I can only imagine how much one would have to pay without scholarship

According to the message they sent me, the whole fee should be around 23000$. The admission for this year has ended and I guess the next admission exercise will come up around january-march 2019.

For all postgraduate students and intending scholars:
We alll know that the soul of lecturing career lies in research publication.

For starters: you can start by publishing your undergraduate research work, your postgraduate seminars and thesis.

You may not have money to publish in expensive Journal houses like Elsevier and science direct, no problem, you can start by publishing in free journal houses. The more 8publications you have, the more your chances of getting that lecturing job or promotion.
I'll help by dropping one free journal publication house for interested scholars. I will drop more on popular demand.

Visit www.erjournals.com and see their list of journals (waste of time)....

Or

Just send them your article for publication at erjournals@gmail.com.

Be sure to write a good paper so that your article can be accepted for publication..

God bless our hustle
