Near zero. Please do not pay for or come for any such course. Look thru the skilled occupation list and pick a course from there.

thanks for the info gunpoint

I just sent through the list and most of the occupations are either engineering or nursing related which I don't qualify because I have a BSc Degree in business admin. but there were project management and social worker jobs.

I hope with a Masters in project management or social work finding work will be easier

Go with social work. Do not, i repeat, do not do a masters in project management. You will not get PR. And you will not get a job. Nothing is truly certain in life but at least with an msc social work you will get your PR

Good day
@JewelStone et all

Kindly advise. Am seeking to move to through studying. I have tried Canada but my age 41 is not giving enough point. Below are my details:

Education HND Computer Sc. 2006
Work experience 10yrs Application Developer
IELTS 7 Band

Because my point wont go beyond 60 even if i max IELTS / PTE, it wont make sense trying Australia skilled worker class. Can i apply for TAFE with OND 2003 or go for expensive Post graduate course?

JewelStone:

I know you feel terrible about the visa rejection but you should've seen this coming. After a certain age, going to TAFE is suspicious especially if you already have a bachelors plus years of work experience. The education industry is a major source of revenue for the Australian Govt, they are more interested in Intl students going to Universities to pay exorbitant tuition fees than people using TAFE as a decoy to enter their country. This is why TAFE has a low approval rate, their tuition fees are low and most of the students don't have genuine intentions.

People here have asked you about the true state of your employment letter but you've ignored the questions. If you applied with fake documents, don't waste your time and money to get an immigration lawyer, the 3 years ban won't be waived. You have to wait for 3 years before applying for any visa, including spousal visa. The ban is only waived for people who overstayed their visas (even this is very difficult to get), not people who used fake docs. Plus getting married soon after the student visa rejection reeks of desperation, and won't help your application at all. So you have to plan carefully to avoid further bans.

I usually don't bother about this sort of posts. But I'm trying to correct the impression that if an application is denied and the applicant banned, getting an immigration lawyer will solve the problem. No it won't. I'm also concerned about the way you simplified the ban, as if you're encouraging other applicants to use fake docs.

Visa applicants should use genuine docs and avoid using TAFE COE at all cost.

I think is more adviceable u pick a related course to ur first degree than just going to sol list n picking courses that r not related at all. If actually u really going to study leave the sol first n try get ur visa n once u get there u can change to ur sol course since is still within d school n visa condition which is master to master not like Msc to diploma. Bsc chemistry now going for msc social work.. Dats a red flag to d CO. So please be wise n don't let pple confuse u.

You can try but you still will not get pr after graduation. Best advise? If u are single, target marrying a much younger woman with education of the skills list. Or else come here and marry oyibo grin
If u are married to you age mate, well, kasala

I beg to differ. Like some people have said many times before, Nigerians write the shittiest SOPs on the planet. Tell the visa officer why you want to study that course, how it relates to you past life experiences (doesn't have to be work related, personal is good too) and what you intend to do with this education when you return to Nigeria(yes you must state that you are coming back in you SOP) .
Basically, tell a compelling story

Hello house.. I have a cousin based in Australia, can I use her austalian statement of account for my student visa processing? She is also a citizen of Australia. What are my chances of been granted visa? Or is there anyone who has used their cousin's SOA as their sponsor and has been granted visa?

Fellow Nairalanders...

Lost between studying in usa or australia? Any advice on these would help my decision. I hear racism
Is high In australia, but again studying in usa does not gurantee papers.

Please advice. I had earlier tried canada, but I was not given admission. I hear that onCE u are above 30, chances are low for masters in canada. That's why I am looking at usa and australia.
