Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon Onofiok Luke, today 7th April, 2018, stood as Best Man to his Chief Press Secretary, one Mr Kufre Okon.

The Honourable Speaker was seen wearing the same designers suit with the groom and also sitting behind the groom in church.

Mr. Onofiok Luke, who is also known as “Ono owo Mkpo,” meaning “a giver,” is seen as the simplest human being in Akwa Ibom. The youth of Akwa Ibom State want him to become the next Governor after the sitting governor Udom Emmanuel.

Humility is such an endearing quality...That is what i see in action here.

I attended the wedding at 69 Oron Road, Uyo and I was really baffled though. I've not seen a married man stand in as a bestman before. Moreover,it seems belittling though.
