I thought that's a normal process (this won't be my first time ordering things from Amazon)... not until I got a parcel delivered to me...I thought it's my package...only to check and find a letter stating I need to travel down to Lagos for some clearance.. it sounds weird and strange to me... please I need you guys to put me through as I don't know what to do... You need to be careful and make sure you go with a lawyer. Previous experience about the same was nasty. Customs demanded for 200k to clear iphonex and sss requested for 150k to get clearance. Had to take the matter up seriously before it was released. The sss are boys who need something, so brace up. Wish u luck

It maybe nothing. But on the other hand something maybe concealed in your package that the security apparatus need to unravel.
Ill advise you to know what the problem is discreetly before presenting yourself to security operatives.

It's very common with DHL and all this security agencies, my ICT products was siezed also like twice, just go with your ID card and screenshot copy of your order from Amazon indicating your name, later they will only request for money to collect it.... that's Nigeria for you....Make sure you stand your ground but they will still want you to drop something...... PLS ARE YOU SURE NOTHING IS CONCEALED IN THE PARCEL APART FROM THE PHONE

That paper is a scam dhl wont send you that. No letter head.

Go to dhl website get their email and send the letter to them to verify. Th dhl staffs are colliding with customs. What does SSS have to do with customs

When you get there, nothing less than 100k will be expected from you. They will believe you have the money since you can afford to pay that amount in USD.

Same thing happened to my friend 2016 when he bought two iPhone 6. He was asked to pay 60k for both phones, he didn't bother to go to lag. He just transferred the money and the phone was sent 2days after. Some thing has to be done to stop this robbery.
