Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central has alleged that some governors were responsible for the mass murder executed by Fulani herdsmen in some parts of Nigeria.

The lawmaker in a series of tweets on his Twitter page, said Governors operating the policy of conditional cash transfer were the cause of herdsmen killings in the country.

Sani urged the federal government to treat such governors as a national security risk.

His tweets read, “The roots of Herdsmen mass murder and kidnappings in other parts of Nigeria is in the policy of ‘Paying Fulani Herdsmen’ by some Governors.They appeased a monster with public funds and now the monster is going door to door;Sahel,Savanna and mangrove forests.

“Any Governor of a state operating the policy of Conditional Cash transfer to Killer Herdsmen is their patron. And he must be seen and treated as a national security risk.”

How these herds feed, they barely even know. All they care about is number. Easy to see where their interest lies.

This problem cuts across even the middle belt. That's why they have failed to deal decisively with the herdsmen menace.

My Brother, leave the Northern elites with their wickedness. I lived in the core North some years back and I know their wicked mindset.
Boko Haram came and the Northern elites foisted it since it had a religious connotation to subdue their subjects. It became a monster they could not control and it ended up ravaging their cities.
Then emerge Herdsmen with a mindset to move southwards to grab grazing lands. Now that the Herdsmen has become a monster that is ravaging the middle belt, I can bet that the Northern elites will watch and do nothing to stop it and pray it further spread down south to Southeast and Southwest and destroy the cities.
The Herdsmen kill people, destroys southern states and grab lands, its all OK by them.
It is their way of Exporting Terrorism to Southern Nigeria.
That is the Northern agenda.

Governors Ortom of Benue and Obiano of Anambra paid herdsmen too.

Recently the case of a herdsman whose 57 cattle were killed and 50 rustled, was reported to me and paid N10million and even up till today we have not apprehended the youths behind the attack, but if we see them we will arrest them. But we had to pay just to allow peace to reign because if they come for reprisals those youths who did the evil will not be there.
