While Nigerians are clamoring for a better health care system and quality medical services, the Ebonyi state ministry of health has launched a set of tricycle 'Keke Napep' ambulances to serve citizens in the state. The ambulances even had the picture of the state governor David Nweze Umahi and other government officials.

To me, this isn't bad as its definitely going to reach the unreached. There are many remote villages in that state those sophisticated ambulances cant reach/ be going routinely but these will definitely be of help to them. It can even serve as a mini mobile clinic and with this, minor suturing, wound dressing, intravenous and intramuscular injection of drugs/fluids and vaccination can be done easily. God bless whoever is behind this initiative.

Guys this Is a good development used in nations such as Haiti due to hold up. That being said Haiti is a poor, impoverished and natural disaster torn area that can compete with Jigawa state at best. But we are copying their healthcare it's just sad.

Nice, quick, easy and efficient. The objective is to get to the patient ASAP, Keke can maneuver perfectly in traffic. we must not use the west/whites as a standard for everything, we have to improvise to meet situations that are unique to us.
