Useless?? Are U for real? Is d cassava processing machine useless on d long run becos not everyone eats garri nd fufu? Dont U realise since it washes and drains d liquid it can as well do same for every other leaves and vegetables??

Some of U sef... D first computer invented was as big as a room. D first set of fones were not as dey are now. D first blenders we used to have was d mortar and pestle and d grnding stone...

With no funding and support dey came up with dat, wat do U think would happen wen dey can afford smaller parts? Dey are trying to solve a problem, try not to b one....

No de mind all those nonentities who are only gud at criticizing. I dont think they v contributed anything to society in their lifetime

Nice attempt, but you can also use blender of smaller size to do the job and save you stress if you know how to. How do u expect our women to carry this thing to their house and still buy fuel, pay for servicing on top of 100 naira bitter leaves?
And if it multipurpose, it will be , lets assume, market friendly but if only restricted to bitter leaves then, it will be useless in the long run because not everyone like or eat bitter leaves.
To me it is just another nice attempt but in the long run likely useless.
If u buy 100naira bitter leaves then u use ur fvckin hands! angry
This invention will be majorly for those that cook on a large scale like restaurants. Stop calling someone's sweat useless when u av not even contributed pin to the society. angry

The women don't need to buy it, rather all the women can bring their bitter leaves to a service center for an industrial scale processing. Economy of scale plus lots of industrial fluid washed out.

A blender would not separate the water like this one would.

This is an industrial scale machine at the initial stage of innovation.

Create something that will solve significant problems... I don't even eat bitter leaf and those that do will not necessarily buy the machine.

It will get smaller with time. Your phone is a mini computer. The earliest computers were as big as large rooms. But look at how far we have come. It is the same with TVs. Compare the bulky CRTs to the ultra slim TVs we have today.

Someone that cannot read a simple post is criticizing people that read and implemented an idea into reality.D primary aim of the machine is to wash bitterleaf, not blend it. Those guys are not in ur league, if u cannot read keep ur opinion to yourself.
As 4 it being useless, just shows how dull and shallow you are. There are people that still pay 50 bucks to blend tomatoes in the market, why won't they pay same for bitterleaf.

Don't waste ur time on people like that guy u quoted. Someone who could not read the post but rushed to criticize is not worth it or even intellectually sound; even ur nice write up won't make any sense to him.

Nice invention boy it can also be deployed for other vegetables.

Guys take that machines to the nearest food market, announce your presence and charge the market women N50/wash.

I'm sure you won't go home with anything less than N5000 per day. Don't wait for the useless government. Save a good chunk of that money and start thinking of reinvesting it on making the machine better.

Be prepared to also meet pragmatic eagle eyed investors who will request you make one for them.

The pessimists and never-do-wells see failure, I see HUGE opportunity.

Why not create yours?

You don't eat bitter leaf, but Anambra people do and its a popular soup in occasions. The young chaps just tried to solve d most difficult part of preparing that soup which is washing and removing the bitter taste.

They have done their part, you can do urs. Innovate and bring up a machine that can tear ur ewedu rather than using toilet brooms. Think for urself.

If cassava peeling and grinding machines can be invented and ppl do go there to pay and process their cassava, why won't bitterleaf have same machine?

To wash a family pot size bitterleaf manually can take up to one hour, how much more when its plenty as used by restaurant

See the bigger picture and stop being short-sighted. An efficient machine of this sort can lead to massive export of processed bitter leaf.

Science + Technology = Industry.

And that science must be taught in our native languages.

Each time you see this type of endeavor its always coming from the locals, and the reason is because they interface with African REALITY a.k.a LANGUAGE and creative intelligence, using it to create such innovation naturally.

This is testament we will solve all our problems by ourselves when we get rid of the fake education given us by white people. The earlier African governments realize this simple equation, the earlier we come out of poverty in Africa.

Two people have to come together to invent this kind of thing...

If it's something very useful, how many people would now invent it?

I wish the bitterleaf inventors all the best
