Hi guys

I am new here. I have read all that is required for getting Australia PR. However my challenge is that I couldn't find profession in those listed occupation. Could I choose a close occupation to that?

My Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering

Diploma and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

3 years of work experience

The only close occupation to my profession is Aeronautical Engineering. Could I choose this? I need your candid advice. Thanks.

you can assess as an electrical/ or electronics engineer using your IT experience and project works, if you don't have experience.

I suppose computer and electronic/electrical are closely related. Check the anzsco code for task info to see the one that best fits computer engineering.

As wapu mentioned.
If it's a 5yrs course... most likey AQF bachelor
Occupation to nominate depends on what the person is doing currently and can be defended.

In what ways do ACS require applicant to defend their occupation?
Like EA that requires CDR episodes? What does one do to satisfy ACS? Is it just employment reference letters?

Thanks for your timely response. Truly, I have had a short stint practicing Telecoms Engineering (1 year) but I had since switched to Aircraft Maintenance, specialising in Aviation Electronics, where I've acquired experience in the last 3 years plus.
Does my experience suffice for Electronics Engineering?

I had not applied for pr when my enrolment was cancelled. I had 28 days to get a new uni or leave Australia from when enrolment was cancelled. So... I got a new uni, then applied for PR. ....
Bridging comes after submission of application and won't kick in until expiration of existing substantial visa...
Student visa was suppose to expire in $eptember 2018... Too much info ay
