My phone was misbehaving so I decided to do a factory reset, but after the factory reset at boot-up, it goes straight from the gateway screen (language selection screen) right to the WiFi setup screen, giving no way that I can see to get to the home screen.
I do not have WiFi at home and don't intend to get it, so I need to be able to navigate directly to the home screen instead, as I don't plan to use any WiFi connectivity at all from home. Is there a way to get past the WiFi setup screen and to the home screen? I've tried everything.
Don't tell me they engineered this thing in a way that does not allow the user to bypass WiFi settings and go straight to the home screen!?
All the Android gurus in the house help me out, my phone is useles if I can't by pass the wifi connection setup

Just get someone with an Android device and power on hotspot

I can't even see the screenshots taken. The phone is unable to pass that stage, the phone must pass the stage before I will b able to access my gallery

On the phone you factory reset. That point where ut need you to connect to a wifi network your wifi is on already.
So you just power on a hotspot from another device

U probably have FRP (factory reset protection) triggered on the phone. If this is truly ur phone then u shouldn't have any problem at all. And don't tell us u don't intend on getting wifi. Get a friend's phone, active his or her hotspot and let ur phone connect to it, then sign in the Google acct that was on the phone prior to factory reset. Problem solved, ur phone will come back to life. This is a security feature to discourage phone thieves.

I think u can also use ur mobile data to activate the phone if wifi is not available (not sure). If u forget ur Google password and try to do a password reset, then the device will not accept the new password until after 24 hours. Good luck.

THe solution to your problem is meet the phone engineers they will flash it for you with shekele money......

opp if you really do proper factory reset ,i.e the one you go to your settings to do ,you wont experience such thing.what you did was a hard reset and that was why you are seeing such thing to protect the phone from theft .the simple solution is to use your data and key in your google account and password.

i faced the same thing when I factory reset my spark after the update, you must not use Wi-Fi all you have to do is put on your data connection
