You've said the truth. However, a country like SA was developed by the whites. Development started in SA before Nigeria was even colonized.
For China, the communist party made it what it was today. They were leaders who were ready to die for China. Singapore is the handwork of the west to fight against the spread of communism in Asia, likewise Hong Kong & South Korea.

Malaysia is the only one here that is very much comparable with Nigeria as we started out the same time. Alas Malaysia is a somewhat religiously and culturally homogenous country unlike a country like Nigeria where every ethnic group and religion is fighting for their own individual interests than the collective good of the nation. Countries with more homogenous populations are easier to rule. This was the reason why our old regional govts were more progressive. The introduction of this current unitary system of govt was what brought us to this current disaster.

I am not excusing the failures of Nigeria, but where does a large country without a clear ethnic or religious majority make any significant development with a unitary govt system? It's impossible!

Bros I tire o, for school 80% of people refer to we political scientist as thieves, blaming us for Nigeria's woes. Just recently we wrote exams on Psychology from the department of psychology, a female lecturer supervising the exams made me believed what a nairalander's mum told him when she said he shouldn't study psychology that it's for mad people. I later overheard her telling her colleagues she purposely did it when she knew we're from the department of Political Science. Each day we have a lecture on a departmental course, problems ravaging Nigeria will be analysed and where we got it all wrong and those who caused Nigeria's downfall. My mood is always gloomy.

No he is not one of the stupid ones. This guy taught me peace and conflict resolution in my 200lvl in that institution. He is a true patriot i must say. The guy has a bad leg from polio and will still stand for hrs teaching. He drove the best cars then amongst all the lecturers in d uni, cars his salary could not buy and i know for a fact that he never collects runs pay from students and not as if he was HOD fo his dept that i would say its d depts Money he used to buy the vehicle. So i can say he wasn't lecturing for the money but for the love of it.
