The burial of a popular man in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital has got people talking due to what happened at the event. The deceased identified as late Elder Johnson Chituru Amadi, was laid to rest yesterday after the conclusion of the funeral rites. The first son was made to kill and behead a dog as he performed the traditional rites at burial. A goat was also killed in such manner at the event. Here are pictures showing how it went down. Buring the dead by sacrificing animals is a well established Igbo tradition you will find all over Igboland. Chituru Amadi's burial is no exception.
