Good evening waddling mamas and my dear October teamie please I need help on how to tackle this, I don't poo daily sometimes it's once in 3days like right now the last time was Saturday, it's star apple that used to help soften my system when I eat much but right now that kind fruit has gone extinct, and most other acidic fruits like orange disturbs me, cucumber is the only fruit that I take without problem but I doubt if it can help so please I need una help, thanks in anticipation!

Watermelons sis, watermelons to the rescue. During my first pregnancy, i buy watermelons, divide into 8 and refrigerate, so i take it first thing in the morning before eating. Then i poo freely.
Pls don't eat at night cos frequent urinations won't allow you enjoy your sleep.

Mama's good evening please I have an issue bothering me I believe this thread is not just pregnancy talk alone but a place where problems are shared and solved.
Now lemme go straight to the point. I am from the South South while the husband I married is from another geo political zone(wont mention to avoid tribal rants or insult) well after marriage' I relocated to his hometown though in the city not his village or even local government o . Here' I have no friends (my choice) the only friends I have are my co workers, vendors and anonymous nairalanders . It happened that my mum in law came to spend 2 weeks with me recently since we got married, this is her first visit. Well by God's grace I treated her well thNk God I love cooking she didn't go hungry at all even with my condition, I wake up early to prepare I, hubby and her own food in the flask while me and hubby take ours to work. I even have to boil hot water for her to bathe on my gas every morning before I go to work and so many other things I did with joy just for her to feel comfortable cos I take her as my mum as well.
Anyways she went back to the village today and this evening, my landlady saw me and asked after her I told her she left this morning. My landlady was like ah she thought she came to stay with us till I put to bed? I said no maam. She said happily that ah thank God o I said why MA? she said you need to rest na that since my mum in-law came that I have not rested that I am always in the kitchen that she was even discussing it with one of her friends the other day. And that it is not even good that it would have been better she come and help when I deliver not now.
She also said my mum in law is only pretending that she only came to monitor me that I should always be prayerful that people from that side only pretend to carry bible but they worship something else etc
Mama's afraid is catching me after the whole discussion I entered inside, started praying and anointing everywhere. Please I hope I am not over reacting cos of what my landlady said?

I understand her plight though she has been TTC for years only God knows what she has passed through in her husband people's hands I believed she is just giving me motherly advice. She said I should not trust anyone that while my husband and the mum speak their dialect, I won't understand and my husband won't tell me all they discuss that I should just be prayerful. Please mama's I'm a novice here o I'm still young in marriage please o advice me afraid is catching me

My own view and opinion.
People don't like a peaceful and settled environment and that is why your landlady will come and say such nasty things about your MIL and her tribe.
As a person, i deal with individuals and not tribe. This is not a tribe thing cos even we yoruba (and even other tribes) still segregate within ourselves and dat is why parents will tell you not to marry from a particular state even within their tribe.
Ask yourself these questions
* During courtship, what was your MIL's behaviour towards you.
* During her stay, did you notice anything off about her?
* What a your husband's stance towards his mum. Like how he treats her?

If you can sincerely say in your heart without any unfounded investigation that your MIL has clean hands, then there's no cause for alarm cos a troublesome mil would have shown you pepper during that two weeks stay, it's either she complains of unevenly cooked rice or not enough salt in soup, you would have definitely seen some signs

Please don't allow the devil In your heart. Pray to God to reveal the kind of person she is to you. Pray with a an unbiased mind and remove FEAR.

@strongwoman333, calm down and take deep breaths. First of all, I think your landlady is a sly for insinuating such. Now, except your MIL has been displaying related behaviours, there's nothing to fear. For God's sake, we really need to stop demonizing our MILs!
Abi you don see am for dream?
Did she make any suggestive negative remarks?
Did she complain to you or about you to her son?
Did she like you before the wedding?
If your answers are No, No, No and Yes, no worries. But if you have been having issues before, talk to DH and stop listening to landladies who have watched too many nollywood films! It's too early to start having doubting mind. That they are from a different place doesn't make them evil or mean... also, that people from their side are evil and mean doesn't make your in-laws evil and mean. So sister dear, chillax and have a cup of cadbury 3-in-1 tea!

Thanks sis for the quick response, the day I took watermelon I was feeling uncomfortable through out so I concluded it not good for me this pregnancy period so I don't know maybe I'll try again, as for not eating at night that means you want me to swallow DH while he's asleep, me that hunger will wake me midnight to go and eat, I pee like 3-4times at night same with drinking water sha so peeing at night is becoming a lifestyle my dear

This is shocking. "Someone was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death because a man he didn't know in a bar pretended his phone battery had gone off so he requested him if he'd the uber app to request a cab for him so that he could go home.
