Tbh,this thread was finished by page 5. Now I'm here for the education and the jokes. I'm sorry to say some of you,may of you actually exhibit characteristics common to certain Kenyan women, specifically Kikuyu women.

1. Frequent Lies and Exaggerations

2. Rarely Admit Flaws and Are Highly Aggressive When Criticized

3. False Image Projection

4. Rule Breaking and Boundary Violation

5. Emotional Invalidation and Coercion

6. Manipulation: The Use or Control of Others as an Extension of Oneself

These are the classic symptoms of narcissistic behaviour. Any normal human person can observe the lies-how many times have Naijjans posted pics of the moribund monorail? Why the need to not logically convince but verbally assault others? What's the impetus behind the 'Giant of Africa,' when in the real world that's like the tallest pygmy appellation? What's with the constant Dangote dyck riding? IIRC when I first asked this someone emptied the contents of his underwear drawer at me and ran for cover!
Anyway any Kenyan of an age and life experience can tell you these tendencies are identical to Kikuyu women behaviour which is a recognizable syndrome. Like you, they're wayyyyyyy too impressed with themselves and inhabit a parallel reality. The result? Dysfunction, depression, single motherhood and a trail of broken relationships not just men but even female friendships I've noticed frequently fall under their narcissistic self centredness. In Nairobi,I've also noticed the two of you are more often than not together which makes me go hmmmmm.....
No,I'm not c ockblocking, have fun with their golden kitkat if you want! Just imo a psychological breakdown of the impulses at play on this particular thread. Ask Naij gals in London their observations of Kikuyu women and get back.

1) PPP - is crap if you're comparing nations. Nominal GDP (in USD) is the standard comparison. Economics 101.
2) Nigeria real GDP if you use the real exchange rate in the region of 320B.
3) If Kenya is already at 88B dollars...then I should worry if I was South Africa...Nigeria is just messed up.
4) TZ has been ramping up minning - but their economy is still nearly half of kenya!

GDP per capita is a calculated thingy. Does not measure the real thing on ground. It involves Gross domestic product converted to international dollars using purchasing power parity rates and divided by total population.Nigerians.Your GDP is 400 b (Not really sure grin )while Kenya’s one is around 80 b.
The real thing to use is the human development index which we are ahead of you.

But here is where reality sinks in…

According to the World Poverty Clock, Nigeria’s struggle with overpopulation will be a problem now, rather than in 2050. Nigeria will by February 2018 overtake India as the country with the most people in extreme poverty. Currently, 82 million Nigerians live in extreme poverty, which is 42.4 percent of Nigeria’s population.

They are not talking of poverty but extreme poverty

According to same report (World Poverty Clock ) :

Nigeria’s mean household income per capita is $1168, as compared to India’s $1759. However, this wouldn’t be an accurate measure of the welfare of the average Nigerian. What would be accurate to measure the economic growth as compared to its growing population will be the wealth distribution. More wealth is concentrated with the elites , despite the country’s oil wealth, than among the people. Those who have access to this oil wealth through politics have been the major recipients of the wealth. The high rate of unemployment, endemic corruption, the lack of basic social amenities for millions of people, the difficulty in doing business and the millions living in poverty are all consequences of the huge inequality in Nigeria.

an the kicker grin

Hence, Nigeria’s rising extreme poverty numbers isn’t unexpected. Instead, it’s a direct result of years of negligent and ineffective government policies. It’s dependence on oil for years and an inability to generate non-oil revenue has led it to this . Even now, Nigeria’s 2018 record budget is running on a deficit and will be funded by much borrowing with government debts also on the rise. It would be extremely difficult for the country to meet that 1st goal of the SDGs, which all the other goals are more or less dependent on

Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 12:54pm On Apr 24, 2018
First let us agree that PPP cannot be used to compare countries. We use nominal GDP in USD. I am not saying there is no use of PPP - PPP is very useful tool within the country - for say measuring poverty!

Secondly let us agree that Kenya and TZ have a free - floating currency - there is no official exchange rate and black market one.Right now Central Bank of Nigeria has fixed an exchange rate of 306USD for naira - but the market rate is something 360 plus.If we use the real market rate - Nigerai GDP (and it's per capita) - will drop drastically from $400B to $320B - and my contention is that 320B is still cooked..Nigeria GDP should be around 250B.

Kenya is not rich - but it's growth has been solid 6% for the last 15yrs and it's predicted to grow at 6% for next 15yrs....and so by 2030-2035...it will have overtaken South Africa if she continues in her current mess.Nigeria is hopeless. She has to wean herself of OIL before we can talk about her.

well ,u need to visit Nigeria and see if we are unemployed like those Kenyans CHOKORAS , for your information most Nigerians hardly depend on white collar jobs and actively involved in their various personal jobs, companies, services ... according to world-bank unemployment rate in Nigeria is 13.9% while Kenya is 42.0%

Nigeria unemployment figures are hilarious - Yemi Kale over-cooked BS - who claim Nigeria has 6% unemployment - and yet the total taxes paid to Nigeria Gov minus Oil is nearly nothing. Whack methodology. Whack data. If kenya used the same - it could declare unemployment rate of 0%.

They are not talking of poverty but extreme poverty
u really made some sense with ur post but failed to realize some things.

1. Countries with and mineral resources mostly have bigger economy than countries with. (On a normal scale).
2. Countries with lower population tend to have higher HDI than larger countries. Ur HDI is rated at 0.55 (no 146 in d world) and Nigeria is rated at 0.52 (no 152 in d world). Pls, show me the real difference there with a country of ur calibre.

Lol, poverty line or extreme poverty line is a hoax. Got this from a world data.
A key difficulty in measuring global poverty is that price levels are very different in different countries. For this reason, it is not sufficient to simply convert the consumption levels of people in different countries by the market exchange rate; it is additionally necessary to adjust for cross-country differences in purchasing power. This is done through Purchasing Power Parity adjustments

So, if u can afford to buy 2 local beer in Kenya everyday @400ksh (or $4) n I buy 2 local beer in Nigeria everyday @400naira.(or $1.1) u're living above poverty line while I'm living below extreme poverty? undecided abeg, who's fooling who?

Truth of the matter unemployment in Kenya is way down than you think unless ya just counting guys in suits an ties. That may be same scenario in Nigeria. But ya gt look at poverty level in your country. Assume that the unemployment level is such low why the extreme poverty

She has to wean herself of OIL before we can talk about her.

hmmmmm well “Knowledge is responsibility, which is why people resist knowledge.” even United States of America/GDP growth rate is 2.1%, UK is 1.6% .and you are yet to provide any indexes that shows Kenya is better than Nigeria, i showed you that Nigeria is far better than Kenya either in GDP.Norman, unemployment rates and many more ....let assumes our economy is 250B and yours is 80B we are still ahead of you three times! so what da hell are you saying?
Nigerian economy on course for 3.5% growth in 2018 - world bank

Kenyans cooking data since the days of prophet Mohammad. I guess this is also from a Tanzanian blog..They are the worst when it comes to data on anything. Have you not noticed how they have lied since the beginning of this thread?

"As a result, the cost of living for ordinary Kenyans
went up as prices of unga, tomatoes, sukumawiki,
and cabbages soared. So, how did the economy
grow? According to Bohlund, the answer lies in
what the national statistician has for long refused to
reveal: a blow-by-blow account of public
expenditure.
KNBS has not yet released this data. “This means
that we have a less complete understanding of the
economy,” says Bohlund who adds that Kenya, an
economic powerhouse in the region, however, lags
behind Uganda and Rwanda in terms of quality of
data."

What do you mean by extreme poverty? lf l can afford to eat a full meal for 0.90 cents( below 1 dollar) in a place like Kebbi for instance( where cost of living isn't high), would you call me poor? Extremely poor by definition means those living below 2 dollar a day, and this is about 700 naira which is enough to buy most things you need for a good meal in many parts of Nigeria, even in places like Benin city or Kano, Kebbi, etc. For farmers in states with low cost of living they do not need to live above 2 dollars a day to survive and even take care of some other expenses in their states.
What is defined as extremely poor is usually by American standards with American currency.
Nigeria and much of Africa has so many poor people and some of the poorest in the world, but it doesn't make sense when you define poor as those who live below 2dollars a day across all countries.

It would be extremely difficult for the country to meet that 1st goal of the SDGs, which all the other goals are more or less dependent on
Why not compare with Kenya why India ?, i though you said Kenya is better than Nigeria
