Unless you were born in UK technically you can be stripped of UK passport under current legislation. Maybe not for a sexual offence warranting 24 months imprisonment. But it happens for certain crimes.

My dear, only men will know if women grab a man's bum or not. Maybe not in public, but in offices, it happens. In that same UK. I have seen it o.

Rapists do not necessarily need a learning curve or apprenticeship. Most just do the small stuff until the opportunity for a bigger one comes up. Deterrence is good. But it doesn't deter those who cannot control their behaviour.

My argument was not even against the punishment but the double standard of it.

You have put the stereotypical argument forward that women never do such. Really? How can you be so sure. You know every woman in this world?

Lagos police announced just recently that cases of domestic violence in court with women as suspects are more than those of men as culprits. I guess many people out there still argue that only men abuse women domestically. Now consider the shame & stigma a man has to overcome to admit that his wife is beating him up at home. So only very few men come forward. Still the figures are still so high.

Same with sexual abuse of children. The belief out there is that it is men who do it. I was shocked by what I heard a few years ago. I was discussing with a group of 9ja guys from about 25 to 45 years old. More than have casually said they first had sex with a far senior woman around age of 12 to 15. They were mostly one "auntie", like a neighbour looking after them, an in law, etc. Women that were married or had a boyfriend. Shocking.
