A Councillor in Ogun State, Kazeem Ololade (APC), commissioned newly installed windows provided by him at the Araya Health Centre in Odo Esa, Ogun State.

According to the councillor, the windows would help in cross ventilation. The photo was shared on Facebook by Adetilewa Adetomiwa.

A Facebook user identified as shared the photo with the caption;

A councillor in a state once commissioned a deep well that was half dug.Just hours before commissioning it,a water tanker came to deposit water into the well.A day after the commissioning, the well was without water and remain like that till date.

Don't be disappointed. Even though Mynd44 might be myopic in some of his posts but the fact remains that a councillor is a law-maker (making bye laws) at local government level and he or she has no financial power being a non executive officer of the local government. He or she will only receive monthly salary and allowances.

Like if you think it is one of the functions of a councillor to carry out projects in his/ her ward. Share if you think otherwise.
