Very nice!! Do you care to tell the house the process of judicial review? Did you hire a lawyer in Canada and how much? Once those judicial review are granted and they are rarely granted, you know an interview is only formality.

Well i did get the paid services of a lawyer over there in Canada on my case. Its basically a legal process whereby the lawyer does the entire paperwork (filing applications, hearing etc). The process is in 2 stages...Application for Leave & JR. Quite expensive imo and not a route many people consider because of the uncertainty.

Hello All,

I have been a silent reader and in the process of applying for a study permit.

I need help in making a choice on which of these 3 schools to do my MBA program in. Memorial University, University of Manitoba and University of Windsor. I have gotten admission to the first 2 (conditional from Manitoba - need to pay $1000 deposit), and awaiting response from Windsor. From my checks on the web the MBA from all 3 are ranked in the same category, so i can choose any based on standards. Cost wise Manitoba>Windsor>Memorial, with Windsor costing an additional 4M and Manitoba 8M approx compared to Memorial.

I am leaning towards Windsor based on the weather and location (would likely be coming with my family), though i am planning to pursue the study permit using the admission from Memorial. I want to get input from those who are on ground if there are other reason that should sway my choice towards Memorial or Manitoba. Your views are greatly appreciated.

@jnyuwa02 please how can I inform cic of the upfront medical examination I've already done? They're asking for medicals even after I submitted the upfront form when submitting. I've already sent emails and sent a case enquiry.

Anyone have any clue? School starts soon
Thank you in advance!!

Depends on the school, some ask for WAEC or NECO for west African applicants. Check the school website well for their admission requirements, or better still give them a call or email for best information.

First and foremost you need to talk to the medical facility to resend to CIC. Secondly you need to contact Accra at accra.immigration@international.gc.ca and tell them you did upfront medicals. Some applications ar been processed in Kenya now, do you know where your application is processed. At any length, regardless where your application is processed, the first process of contacting the medical facility should take care of the problem.

Windsor is near Toronto and accessible to many things to do. Memorial is out there in the boonies and nothing to do. But if you are a family man, Peace and tranquility of living out in the country might hold your fancy. Many Nigerians at WIndsor and access to Nigerian food and restaurant guaranteed. So much diversity. At Memorial everything white from the people to the snow!

Thank you. It's being processed in Accra. I've talked to the hospital (children's practice). They said they're of no help and referred me back to cic. I've already sent emails to cic

Good afternoon house. Nice job on here.
Please I need advise for my brother.
He graduated with 2:2 biz admin and wants to go for masters in Canada. All the schools he applied to did not grant him admission except for University of Canada West for masters in business administration. The whole tuition came to 39000cad and I made some research online and the sch doesn't really have good reviews. Is anyone in the school currently? Is it worth it?
Between going for University of Canada west and running a diploma in a college which is better?
Please advise.

University of Canada West is a terrible school and a total waste of money. Try Thompson Rivers University and saint Mary’s University

Please house, am a bit confused. My sponsor printed SOA from Internet banking of which he directed me to his bank to get it stamped. Actually the statement is voluminous so the bank officer just stamped and endorsed the 1st,some middle and last page. On coming home a friend told me that the statement printed on A4 and from Internet doesn't hold water. He also said it supposed to be on that computer paper like that one waec uses to send an entire school results and that it would be stamped page by page. Please how true is this. Please help a brother
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by ayeopare(m): 7:12pm On Apr 25, 2018
That's not true, what matters is the stamp and so far the first and the last page has been duly stamped, because bank also use ordinary A4 paper sometimes

If you have sent email, you need to chill and wait for an update to your profile. If in one week you dont see an update, shoot an email to them and keeping bugging them once a month. I know someone who bugged them and they updated his profile and he eventually won.

That’s not true. You can order your gcms note yourself. The difference is that you pay $20 instead of the $5 for someone in Canada. Kindly check gcmsnow.com. You don’t have to wait for anyone to order for you. It’s as easy as abc

Thanks! Am also planning to change school, I hope it won't affect my visa processing? The previous one was UCW. I learnt it's not a good school, please do you know any good school with affordable fees, without GMAT and all their IELTS wahala?
