Also, im on MIUIPRO 8.4.19 and it has the option of face ID but it doesnt work. Always force closing...

Is there a way my contacts can be saved on my google account on Xiaomi Redmi 5+? It only has 'Save to Yahoo' and Phone as the only options of saving contacts. Is anybody also experiencing this?

Note that i have logged on my google account on the phone. I need my contacts on Google and not on Yahoo

Download the global beta rom for your device from the mi download section.


Go to the updater app, click on the three vertical dot and choose update package and navigate to the downloaded rom.

Select it and it will complete the process on its own.Please ensure you backup as all data will be erased.

Have you tried adding a new account when you are prompted to choose the account you want to save the contact to? It looks like a permission thing afaik.

Go to Contact - Tap 3 dots - Settings - Configure contact lists - All contacts

From ur screen shot, Tap on Google - More - Sync now.
NB: Did u see ur Gmail when u click configure contact list

No prompt thing.. Wen saving, dia is a drop down � having just two options i stated above. Ar u able to save ur contacts on Gmail

Magnification gestures was never on. Sha, I guess it's one of those things with using Nova launcher on miui
