You don't have to decline your ITA so far your TRF date is before ITA date. Why should you decline the ITA just because of a number that is different? Except if there are other reasons apart from this, I believe you will be fine.
Pacowo:

Wow, please my situation is similar, however its concerning the ielts TRF number. i generated it cos i had not received the hard copy. Post ITA, I realised that one number from the trf is wrong (8 instead of 7). Every other information is correct. The exam date and result date as well is b4 the crs draw and invite.

Pls guys what do you think, do i go ahead and apply or do i have to decline invitation. Although i have made the correction now (post ITA).

Thanks as i await your response
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by dupyshoo: 7:17pm On Apr 29, 2018
As your ECA date is going to be after ITA date, it is better you decline the ITA cos the case officer will check if ur meet the draw cut off on ITA date and on AOR date. Some people have got away with it but it is not worth the risk.

jergins:
@njbybrthnly, @Ethelia, @bbaby84 thx for your reply. Like I said, just used that to evaluate what the final score will be, never expected score to come down to that considering the previous draw score.

Thanks all the same.

If you claim exemptions with your B.Sc accounting, you won't get the Diploma. You might consider registering with your SSCE and attempt the 3 papers.
Zeewirld:
Bsc in Accounting major gives exemption in FA 1 to FA 4 while the Diploma in accounting from ACCA involve exams/paper from FA 1 to FA 3....That means a person with Bsc in Accounting might not write any Exams for the Diploma. Would such a person be given a Diploma in Accounting certificate?? Fear of wasting money is the reason for these questions. quote author=mcstan18 post=67126197]

The bolded makes one qualified for two or more certificates when juxtaposed with a degree certificate. Way to go!

Away for 3 days and back, now I have 16 pages to cover sad

For those resident in the UK please, I understand we are required to upload the fingerprints form along with our Nigeria PCC post ITA. If my understanding is correct, is it compulsory to certify the fingerprints, before sending the completed forms to Nigeria, at the Metropolitan Police (I was there today and they asked me to pay £75 for the fingerprints; I feel this is just too expensive, even more than the UK PCC of £45) or the Nigerian High Commission in London?

Please help as I am now getting confused.

Thanks

I think so too. When u got ITA most of your info migrated to the eAPR. So u don’t have to worry about the EE profile, ensure what u are filling on your eAPR is right and absolutely correct.

Don't mind him/her.
It's actually not for sale.
F1 to F3 can still humble someone without adequate preparation.

I don’t think you need it for UK PCC. It’s just for Nigeria I read somewhere we have to include the fingerprints form. Although, I don’t know why. Just wanted to know if we will have to certify it here in the UK before uploading

You can pick up at their office. You will be sent a mail before the 13th day to indicate where I want to collect ur TRF . Another good thing ur TRF number will be stated when you check the result online.

WES will evaluate it. WES evaluates ACCA qualifications positively. I suggest you assess your ACCA diploma alongside your BSc because ACCA is easy, transcripts are free and verification is not required.

Search for hellofax on this thread in order to send your certificates to them. Send ACCA an email asking then to forward your transcripts to WES. Please include yoyr WES reference number. Goodluck

Jamezy4u:

Thanks much for your response!

Please, how do I evaluate my ACCA F1-F9 (Advance Diploma) ? I heard WES do not evaluate professional examinations. Or can they access that too?

Thanks much!

Hello Madam,

Just a little note....someone doing short landing has less than 3 years to move...more like 2 ish...

I am relatively new on this thread but I've done a bit of background reading so I will attempt to answer your questions.

I am relatively new on this thread but I've done a bit of background reading so I will attempt to answer your questions.

The first thing you need to do is estimate your points using the CRS tool using each of you as primary applicant.

There are things you need to consider.

1. Age.
If either of you is between 20-29yrs you get a whooping 100 points. From 30 to 40 the points reduce by 5 every year. So the younger person will have an advantage.

2. Educational Qualifications

If you are the primary applicant, you get 112 points for your bachelors and your wife will contribute 10 points for her MBA (122 points in total for educational qualifications)

If your wife is the primary applicant, she gets
126 points for her MBA and you will contribute 8 points for your bachelors (134 points in total - an extra 12 points)

3. IELTS
The primary applicant can contribute up to 128 points if they ace the IELTS. The spouse contributes a maximum of 20 points.

So if you score better in IELTS than your wife you may contribute more points eventually.

4. Work Experience
With your 8 years experience you can contribute 50 points if you ace your IELTS. If your wife is the primary applicant, with only NYSC (I am assuming she has served) she will contribute only 25 points and this is if she aces IELTS.

So you do need to consider all these factors to determine who will be the primary applicant.

For POF, you can use a gift deed. Go to page 0 to see more on that. However, I think that this requirement is for our own good. Moving is something that should be properly planned and it is essential to have enough cash when moving to a new country.

As for moving with family, a lot of people have done "short landing". It means going with your family, getting your documentation and then returning back to Nigeria. To renew your PR card you only need to have lived in Canada for a total of 2years. This means you may still have 3years to move finally.

All the best

Concise breakdown, thanks!
1. Late 30s so nothing much in that regards
2.I will be the primary then since the difference is "only" 12 points.
3. I expect no less than 8 on each of the ielts tests. This should translate to how many points?
4. Is scoring an 8 on all tests enough for the extra 50 points on 8 years experience?

All things considered, I think its better I'm the primary applicant
Thanks a bunch.
