Take a Look at Harbin – The Ice City Which Everybody Loves!

Every year, this snow experience turns into a massive snow festival with some of the most impressive snow sculptures.
The Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival first began in 1963, but it has been interrupted because of the Cultural Revolution and resumed on January 5 in 1985. Since then, this tradition is continued, and this year the thirty-first Festival will be held.
The Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival lasts one month but with average temperatures of -18C the sculptures can bee seen even longer than a mount.

The artists have created a magnificent Ice City with illuminated castles and buildings, and even a replica of the Empire State Building. It’s really an unforgettable experience to see their creations, but I can’t say the same about the people working in the cold.
