At the same time, Buhari has always liked Oshiomhole and severally hinted that he would like to work more closely with him so Oshiomhole became a common interest and opportunity for both Buhari and Tinubu to find common ground once again, plus Buhari feels Tinubu has more political weight and value than Oyegun for his reelection bid. It is all politics.

In other words, Oshiomole will "own" APC.

That sounds plausible.

This is why there is need to recorder the election to destroy bandwagon effect.

All this loyal to Tinubu not loyal to Tinubu sef. Osho was in ACN remember. I don't really think Tinubu is overbearing... He fought Saraki because of Buharis candidate, when his candidate lost to Dogara in the house they moved on and started working together, doubt if Abraham is closer to Tinubu than Akeredolu, Ondo people are enjoying Akeredolu now, Dino of "ajekun iya" fame can tell the story of Bello he helped install in a more glowing light, It is not incumbent that lost 16-0 the way Fayemi did, so when Tinubu decided not to route he must have taken the voice of the people as the voice of God...another 16-0 in the offing for the greedy lots in APC, since Aregbe decided on his own candidate during Ondo election, you can see what it look like to be a destitute...doubt if Tinubu interfered with Oshiomole choice in Edo and yet Tinubu was his choice's first fan. Any reasonable person would have known that if Tinubu was looking for who to control, a highly opinionated General wouldn't have been his choice in 2015, what happened to his business associates Atiku and SarakI? Neither would he have supported a rigid Oyegun for the chairman...Ikimi would have been more malleable. As for Lagos? No serious politician would have allowed an incumbent that lost his ward to nominate successor nah...there are lots at stake and a lot of interests involved here

Oyegun's tacitly- as the supposed numero uno officio of the party- allowed indiscipline , disloyalty and dishonesty in the party which consequently contaminated the polity. An Oyegun watched on as Saraki in connivance with Atiku and PDP planned a coup against the party - a wound that is still festering till this moment; he forgot what we had promised Nigerians in 2015 when he aligned with the 'cabal' -who are unashamed political contractors with PDP mentality and whom Aisha had alerted us against in 2016- to engage in all sorts of unethical political dealings which is causing a lot of divisions and ill feelings within and outside APC across the country. This uninnovative, disloyal, divisive and low -electoral- value chairman should just give way to a more committed, intelligent, firm and creative person to lead the party if it is not too late already .

Tinubu' issue with Oyegun is that Oyegun is too loyal to the president over Tinubu.
And now, Buhari wants to repay that loyalty with betrayal.
This should send a message to those ready to die for Buhari in his party. He would happily leave them to dry.
