A friend of mine told me that in order to prevent sagged boobs after childbirth, I'll have to wear bra all day n night! That the only time I should take it off is only while bathing. well, I've been doing that since week 6(now 12+) cos it helps wit the heavy n sore boobs bt now I feel a lot better n just super uncomfortable caging my boobs every time. I Laff in ibibio. Mbok, don't deceive yaself. The walls of Jericho mustu fall if u like use rope n hang ur breast to ya neck. When I was pregnant for my first, I wore my tight bra enter bathroom sef, remove it when I wanna shower and wear it back immediately even before I wear pant. I dinnor know my village pipu were just laughing at me mucheche cos they know my daughter in the womb was a breast tigress. My daughter sucked the living day light out of my breast. It got to a stage I could feel the message transported from the brain down to my breast that my breast warrior is at work. If u see my breast now even Olympus that thinks it has fallen is still a learner with my breast. The funny thing is that I used to have this pointed sexy breast before I gave birth but now ayam even imagining how it increased in size n now fall ontop. My husband do Laff at me and sing SHAKARA DON END O.... Even my daughter that did it to me will be laughing and singing with her dad.

I'm doing fine o, just that I've not been able to eat anything with stew since Saturday! No fish, no beef just eggs.
I ate Amala with plain ewedu like a 1 year old yesterday. But who am I to complain, I thank God for the experience.

I am really grateful to God for seeing me through this journey and spoilt all the plans of d enemy. Due to a previous loss I was a bit paranoid and being too careful this time.
Pls pardon dis pregnancy story and not just birth story. Its my testimony.

I had no MS just some food aversions. Fast forward to 13 weeks and I had a cerclage on to close the mouth of d cervix as a preventive measure (because of history).

At 17 weeks during routine antenatal urine test, my sugar level was very high and I was sent for different test. They concluded I had GDM ( gestational diabetes). I was placed on insulin injection twice a day for the rest of the pregnancy. I was closely monitored and had to watch my diet.

Fast forward to 25 weeks and I started bleeding at midnight, was rushed to d hospital and I was told my placenta was low lying. I was placed on complete bed rest, 2 days later d bleeding increased, I was told I might have to let d baby go for me to survive but I held on to God for a miracle. After 1 week of rest, d bleeding stopped and was discharged after 2 weeks at d hospital.
The Drs plan was to keep me till delivery but I pleaded with dem before I was discharged.
I had scan done frequently and d placenta was going up.

At 32 weeks I noticed d weight of d baby wasn't much, at 35 weeks noticed reduction in baby's movement. I taught d space in d womb was small for much movement but mentioned it at 36 wks antenatal. Started stooling days later, hubby insisted I went to d hospital. I started shaking seriously in d hospital n scan showed baby's weight was 2.2kg, too small for 36 wks.

I had an emergency cs that night because of d reduced movement n wat they noticed during scan. My prince came out strong n crying, weighing 2.1kg. I thank God that with the weight he didn't need incubator or have complications.

I give all glory to God for seeing me through.

We were 29 as at last roll call.
We had 3 Mommas who ported to #teamMarch2018.
We had 33 safe deliveries... what a joy!!! 12 mommas shared their Birthstories, but 21 Mommas are still recovering, please oblige the house just as we enjoyed other team's testimonies.

To the glory of God we recorded no loss, but had 2 miscarriages. Proudmum38, and Eezohbae, we saw strength in you! We are anxiously waiting for your testimonies.

I am about to have my first Doctor's visit/begin antenatal care at Week 10. Please can anyone share what the procedure is at General Hospital Ifako Ijaiye? I hear my hubby has to donate blood but that's all I know for now.

Just school me on some basic things I need to know.

I for one haven't started antenatal but I'm seeing a doctor who is monitoring me till week 12/13 when I'll register. You can try that but very important is your prenatal, take it religiously. What I do when I start getting nauseous is take a very chilled water or anything chilled, it helps a lot. You can find a way around yours too.

At 17 weeks during routine antenatal urine test, my sugar level was very high and I was sent for different test. They concluded I had GDM ( gestational diabetes). I was placed on insulin injection twice a day for the rest of the pregnancy. I was closely monitored and had to watch my diet.

Fast forward to 25 weeks and I started bleeding at midnight, was rushed to d hospital and I was told my placenta was low lying. I was placed on complete bed rest, 2 days later d bleeding increased, I was told I might have to let d baby go for me to survive but I held on to God for a miracle. After 1 week of rest, d bleeding stopped and was discharged after 2 weeks at d hospital.
The Drs plan was to keep me till delivery but I pleaded with dem before I was discharged.
I had scan done frequently and d placenta was going up.

At 32 weeks I noticed d weight of d baby wasn't much, at 35 weeks noticed reduction in baby's movement. I taught d space in d womb was small for much movement but mentioned it at 36 wks antenatal. Started stooling days later, hubby insisted I went to d hospital. I started shaking seriously in d hospital n scan showed baby's weight was 2.2kg, too small for 36 wks.

I had an emergency cs that night because of d reduced movement n wat they noticed during scan. My prince came out strong n crying, weighing 2.1kg. I thank God that with the weight he didn't need incubator or have complications.
