What is your take on security deposit from drivers and how much you think person suppose collect

My take is simple ... There must be SECURITY DEPOSIT ... I have implemented it and a driver has dropped a deposit ...

The amount to collect is left to the partner discretion. I have how much I collect when all factors is considered.

Security deposit has to be paid ...

Hello,
Are you a partner on Uber?
Do you have a watertight agreement with your driver?
If you dont, have you ever thought of what happens during a dispute?
As a fleet manager, i have seen many different situations and scenarios on Uber and Taxify.
And this is one i see a lot; driver mismanages the car, fails to remit and then returns the car to the partner.
Yes, usually partners have some type of insurance cover.

But this type of situation is slightly different, there are small gaps partners can fall through.
The type of damage might not fall under insurance coverage , i'm sure the failure to remit by driver is definitely not covered by insurance.
You might experience a brief window where you as a partner are neither covered by insurance nor the law.
You could end up being the one stuck with the bills.

And you could potentially lose massively on your investment.
In my experience this is one of the top reasons partners lose hope in their Uber investment and call it quits.
You need to protect yourself.

You need to sign a comprehensive and total agreement with your driver today!
Its very very important.

All you need is the Taxi App Guy's Guide to Uber Packet.

Here is what it contains

1. Guide to uber book

2. Partner-Driver rental agreement template

3. Partner-Driver hire purchase agreement template

4. Guarantor form

5. Vehicle handover, inspection and return checklists

You need to protect your investments Today

Call or Whatsapp (Whatsapp allows us serve you better)

Cheers.

Yeah thanks sha,,, I even asked Mayo few weeks ago about it. I think, well I will start implementing it from now on.... It will at least help reduce stories that might touch the heart. Especially if the cars are tokunbos ...and also an option should be given to the driver on how much he can drop for s deposit too..thsnks sha

Has anyone tried these guys before? I have had a bad experience with one car tracker in the past and wouldn't want to fall victim again; poor customer service, tracker doesn't work from far range, installer avoiding calls, App not working as expected- just frustrating I must say. so many fake guys in this country.

Good people in the house should please advice a brother. I worked so hard day and night to secure a car and wouldn't want some random guys to snatch it. though I have a comprehensive insurance, i still believe in having other controls to secure my asset.

Am going to bring this topic to an end.. Uber Nigeria is the same or similar in the states. Uber charges 25percent comission and their competitors Lyfy charges 15percent.. People too complain in the states that uber is a waste of time.. But people still do it and make money.. So at the end of the day, u have an option to quit .. Unfortunately we leave in a capitalism society.. The issue in Nigeria is that we don't stick together, if we did maybe uber wil able to bring their commission down.. Until than its every man for himself...

Yes u will bring it to end because
1. You are not a driver partner
2. You are probably one of those that give cars at 45k weekly delivery. U would always back up ur reasons to justify suffering.

There are those that make it to their weekly target because they have no choice.

Call them and openly let them share their experiences.

I drive my car so I maintain it to the core.

I also put myself in the shoe of those that deliver and still run the same maintenance as I do.

What makes a good employer is putting urself in the shoe of ur employee.

Just becos others do it and meet up doesn't mean they are happy doing it.

There are lots of competitions now. So the customers on taxify now most of them were ubers.

Cabu is here as well with probably 10% commission.

What happened to Nokia phone company would happen to uber soon.

If u have drove a client for a long distance and after dropping him u realize he was given 50% discount. And u get paid 1000naira when u are expecting something more. Only for u to ride two cash and realize that the balance they held by themselves have been taken as commission. U would know this is suffering.

Anyway I choose taxify all day.
I ride uber if I have stayed a place for long and no ride on taxify.

Feel for people we are human not animal.
25% can be for others countries with motoroable roads not in nigeria.

The roads I can boast of being okay in Lagos is lekki epe express way. Others na kwak

To drive either uber / taxify is not by force or choice.. To work self is not by force, their are others ways to make money... begging on the street, cooperate job, civil servants, ashewo job both male and female job now, stealing etc etc... the choice is yours .. Someone of u people even given a million $ , you would not know what to do with it other than born children have girlfriends part and do big man all over the place... if life gives you u lemon ,try and make lemonade out of it ...
I keep saying uber is great till u have ur own car.. But to get to that stage u have to put in work and hustle. Some of u drivers were given great opportunity to get urself a car and blew it.. Can't blame anybody buy urself o
