Goodmorning Good Ppl,
Please for those who got their police character certificate from Alagbon, were there any requirements for being issued the certificate asides the money paid.

I would also like to get the direction to Alagbon from Mile 2.
Muchas gracias.

Just take along 4 passport photograph, international passport and cash (4-7) based on your negotiating skills though.

Find your way to obalende and take bike to immigration centre at Ikoyi.

Filling the study visa application and need clarification on the 4th question in the Background Information section that asks
''Did you serve in any military, militia, or civil defence unit or serve in a security organization or police force(including non obligatory national service, reserve or volunteer units)?''

What's the correct answer to this bearing in mind NYSC?

Even though I ticked ''NO'', I would like to know if this is correct.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Nobody: 7:37am On May 04, 2018
I feel what you’ve ticked is correct. NYSC is an Obligatory National Service. Other examples listed there are based on choice and can be considered as Non Obligatory.

Parents should mention it in their letter of sponsorship/support and you reemphasize it in your SOP.

Thank you. Please i have my father's landing properties document, each document is like a pamphlet, is not just 1 or 2 pages. Please which of the pages should i scan?

Same beast with two different names. Only one is asked for by the High Commission! Submitting both is a waste of space!

How is it a waste of space?, while there are many out there that submitted both letters and got their visa approved. Some applicants may decide to use the SOP to explain their study intent while the LOE to address the concerns of the visa officer regarding the reasons that was raised on their GCMS Note. I wonder why you say is a waste of space. Well, I advise applicants to submit both letters only if the points presented on each are categorically discussing a separate matter, and not coinciding with each other. if an applicant does not have much points to give in the second letter, it's better to stick to one. I don't see it as a waste if you have tangible points to give on both letters. However LOE, LOI, SOP, are all same thing, it's the content of the letter that makes a difference in them.

You need to excerise patience okay. No one here has answer to the processing time after an applicant has been called for medicals. Be patient and rest assured your application is 95.5% close to approval.

Don’t really wanna do that, these folks might see me as desperate , thereby pushing them into making a hasty decision on my application.

In God I trust

It’s really unnecessary. Whatever you have to explain can be communicated in either a Letter of Explanation or Statement of Purpose and not both at the same time. They are in fact the same thing you are calling with two different names. The visa office requests only an LOE. If anyone wants to go do both are the same time, they should know they are doing superfluous things—not necessary and excessive. Choose one and stay concise, short and straight to the point is ideal!!
