Teecann, congratulations. What made you decide PNP in the first place? Because you got 7.5 in Listening the first time? Haba. The time you wasted waiting on SINP. People please know that not conquering IELTS is not reason enough to go PNP route. PNP is expensive coupled with a bag of patience and hbp of getting in before portal closes.
My advice? If IELTS is becoming a problem for you....take a breather and like I have always said find out what you're doing wrong and device a strategy for beating it.
Congrats to everyone that got their desired score.

Ifeoma77 I knew you be smart cookie grin

Thanks @CF

You are right. Yes, my 7.5 in listening in the first instance and to top it up, I got bad advice- "it's not worth wasting money on re-writing IELTS, use that money to initiate a PNP hustle". Thats mistake No. 1- I never reviewed my personal circumstance to know that I have it in me to max out IELTS and get direct ITA.. I just delved into the PNP before I realized how expensive it is, how time consuming it is and the best of training in patience it is! grin

PNP is expensive- You cant be more correct. What I have spent so far on the PNP hustle, many people will not spend half of it in all of their pre-ITA preparations (I mean 2 IELTS tests, transcripts collection payment, courier payment and WES evaluation payments) and I am serious! grin

PNP is a bag of patience- You cant be even more right. My application has been on since October 2017 and no nomination yet till today. (Some August 2017 applicants just got nomination in April 2018, can you beat that! lipsrsealed)
No nomination, no rejection...application hanging in limbo! grin You can imagine the emotions of anxiety daily since Oct 2017. I eventually took my mind off the application in February 2018 and focused to re-take IELTS. Here we are! grin

It will all end in praise IJN!

Hi guys,

Just to share the information I got today. I was @ VFS Lekki to submit my Passport, the man @ the submission desk explained to me that my passport will be sent to ACCRA, and I will have to pay #14,350 for each passports attached to my application.

I explained to him the PPR mail I got and how I assumed my Passport will be treated by the Lagos Visa Office. He then explained that the change only meant that passports can’t be sent to ACCRA directly through DHL anymore. Everybody will have to go through VFS.

Toh……they accept cash only@VFS

Cheers!

Thank you for your response. I did that before i posted my question here.
I called him but from the information I got, it appeared my physical presence would be required in the station. I was a bit surprised because the information from this thread seemed to indicate this was not necessary. Hence i have come back her to get clarification on what this process really entails.
Please who has done Nigerian PCC of lately. April ITA people in Lagos. Please help with this information. Thank you

It isn't necessary. I just completed mine with him and I didn't have to appear for him to complete the process. Just explain well for him. Sometimes he is too impatient to listen. grin

I honestly didn’t want to announce my PPR until COPR/VISA was ready but somehow, unknowingly, the mail I got yesterday announced itself.

ITA: Jan 24 2018
Travel History: None o. Original greenhorn grin grin
Acknowledgement of Receipt: 06 March 2018

Passport Request (PPR): 3 May

Current place of employment doesn’t issue such letter for current serving employees so I prepared LOE to this effect. I wrote my job functions on a plain paper, notarized it and it was the lawyer that signed, attached supporting documents (ID card, Offer/promotion letter, pay slips, tax card, appraisals, call card)

Daz all

Congratulations!

A quick one please, did your offer/promotion letter contain your Job duties? Also did you submit proof of your attempts to obtain a reference letter?
Thanks

They are as expensive as they are professional but truth is that even them do not have the power over the decisions on your application. I like them because they will tell you that. If you do not have any particular twist to your profile please do it yourself. If u do and u have the money then it's fine. I used them for my 2nd study permit app so I knew the process too and it helped because No one knows your situation more than urself.

I used them for my first application....Paid USD2000. My CRS score at the time was below 400, they only helped with arranging and submitting my docs...they never advised me on other options !

Please don't use any agent. The process is straightforward, You have all the info you need on immigration forums and CIC website.

All the Best !!!

The Academic request form is optional (Only the University of Ibadan requires it). It's great to send along, but if you don't, it is not a deal breaker.
Some seniors here have done their ECA without including the form, and got the ECA. e.g. https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/323#65258380
Just ensure that you put your WES ref number as the first line of the address. That is all that is required of you.
You can read all this on the WES website so no one confuses you. it is clearly stated there that the form is optional.
thanks ma

Hello house, Please I need a clarification. For those who have concluded ECA with Unilag, I want to know if I have to make payment for the verification or the sum has been included from the onset. I am asking because after I had paid the required calculated sum, I was asked to pay another 7k before my transcript could be sent. I never bothered to ask what it was meant for as it has over delayed already. Now at the verification stage and I would like to know if I will have to pay the 3k as shown on Unilag webpage. Thanks in anticipation.
