Do I want to believe that huawei phones pose a security risk. As far as am concerned their phones have very good security and they have come a long way but the issue here is any device that has a collection of transistors as it's brain is a potential security leak.
Even the iPhone too so what are we talking about here.
The US dies things one part technical one part political one part marketing.
Wo what am I even saying self.

Smart decision...

always trust american government when it comes to proactiveness in d security of its people. But our country security system is porous, always exposing it citizen to different treat in d security circle. Imagine offa robbery where vital infor was sent across to d police before d attack occurred, but nothing was done to stop it...

This decision has nothing to do with security. It is simply a Reinforcement of the Trade war with China embarked upon by the Trump Administration

Trust China at your peril. They have zero conscience.

The US get their own for body, but the good thing is that their govt fear the people's wrath.

So they are more sensible with surveillance nowadays especially after that snowden issue.

Why did it take them so long ?But I hope when other militaries start banning IPhones on the military bases the US won't complains because IPhone's also eavesdrop for the is govt like wise Korean Samsung smart devices

very very sensible question which any sensible and intelligent person should ask first. and the answer is very simple ,LEADERSHIP.

most of the policies and actions trump is taking are actions which has been on the table of past American govts for long , but because none of them had the guts to take actions on it they always just waive it aside ,issues like Jerusalem n north Korea and gun control . past presidents believe is acting mild , but trump has been bold with his moves and has been focused on his agenda of " AMERICA FIRST', to him the interest of America superceeds any other interest and he will not think twice to step on anyone toes to protect the interest of the united states . he has slammed some heavy tariff and sanctions on china for intellectual theft. he has shown that he is not afraid of going to an economic war with china , something which every other country in the world dare not threaten

What are you talking about? Apple won't even unlock a phone for the FBI.
While the NSA may have back channels to accessing these devices, they surely do not have the consent of apple, google and the likes, and the last time snowden revealed all the loopholes, it took just days for them to lock NSA out.
Chinese phone companies are govt entities masked with private ownership. Your logic is flawed.
