OP...I believe is somebody that close to u that did that to you,reason is that all milenium cars have chips on their keys which makes it impossible for another key that does not belong and programmed with your car to work..Someone might have taken your key secretly to cut and program another one for them to be able to start and move the car...Get the police involve and arrest anyone you suspect around you.

Most stolen cars are usually not started with keys.

Losing properties are very painful, we should understand the importance of insurance. It minimizes risks.

with 40,000 naira boys in Lagos will produce another key , more so I have seen various methods on YouTube how to hijack certain cars.

Moreso cars with start/stop button are more at risk

The funny thing is that those boys hawking in traffic connived with him. I done drag the guy comot from steering make him sit down for ground and people wey dey pass just dey sorry for am say him done enter gbese on top 2016 brand new motor. Na dem suggest say make I go park for front cos I been done call boys make dem come drive the hiace follow me... I nor know how I take fall for that trick. I ended up feeling stupid when I came back and didn't see the guy's car. Criminals everywhere in Lagos.

I don't think a hiace bus has that transponder chip on the key that sends signal to the ignition system to start the car.

With our hiace bus, its just hot wiring like its done in danfo. connect one wire with another and car don start
