Zodwa, who is a mother to an 11-year old son, used to work for a debt collection company but later resigned to indulge in the entertainment industry. In an interview with Times Live in October last year, Zodwa revealed that before her newfound fame, she used to sleep with men for money and live through favours from strangers.

“If you asked me out then I would sleep at your place and in the morning I would expect money. Some may say it’s prostitution but I was hustling. I just needed to survive.” She said

The mouth to mouth kiss to Zodwa is part of the way she is returning the favours to strangers. She wrote: “I don’t have friends, I love people I don’t know Owabantu�❤❤❤❤❤”
