Well the situation varies, in the society now women /wives are now competing with men in promiscuous life but what I know is 80percentage of wives that are cheating on their men does it because they are negliented,depressed, non self esteem which was the results of their married life, mind you am married and will never cheat on my man even if I have reason to.[b][/b]
The reason why I said the situation varies is in a case of the man is also cheating and the wife has caught him severely and the woman eventually had an extra marital affairs, if she was caught and the man had a good conscience he should be able to forgive and work on their marriage, both needed to make adjustments not one sided because the woman has not always been like that but in a situation where the man is loyal and the wife does it then it still depends on the man, he can divorce or not

now this may take some space but i will try and shorten it , whether we like it or not , there is no culture in this world that equates an husband and wife to be equal , even the bible and the Quran does not.what the bible says is that women must and should submit totally to their husband and husbands should love their wives .the white men brought their ideology of men and women are equal and ppl have forgotten that the whites have the highest number of divorce rates among all cultures. in our African culture , a man can date and marry another woman , THERE IS NO CRIME IN IT ,but the white man says it is wrong and ppl accept it. in our culture , parents will tell their daughters your husband can do as he likes , if the lady isnt comfortable with it , she will be asked to pack out , this is totally different from the white man culture where it is the man that packs out for the woman. so people just have to understand that this is a cultural thing and it cant change unless the lady involve is ready to divorce and marry another man.

There's no crime in dating other women, but the holy books condemn adultery and men are not excluded. The way men cheat with impunity these days, one would think it's their birthright. If someone cheats, it is not because the partner is not clean or what ever, it is simply because Humans were not designed to have sex with one partner all through their 120 given years on the physical plane.

Why cant we accept this fact and so we can focus on other important things ?

The sex organs become active from puberty and must be used to generate the required hormones to balance the body biochemistry. Depletion of those hormones and body chemicals brings mood changes and causes most of the mental instabilities and stress in people.

No love means stress, less love means stress, more love means no stress, just hormones and body chemicals. People who have great sex are usually happier.

Marriage is forceful upsetting of these balance, because people loose sexual interest in monotonous relationships. That is the natural reason for cheating. Follow your heart always, not your head. Love happens in the heart, not in the head.
