It's almost the middle of the year, but the worthless and incompetent senators aka National parasites are yet to pass our budget, but they won't hesitate to form delegation to visit their fellow criminals under criminal trials as if this is what their constituents sent them to the Senate to do in the name of democracy.

These clowns serve themselves, not Nigeria or any kind of democracy.

This is quite disappointing because even a professor of law has rendered himself cheap over a penny matter that requires nothing but a legal blow.

How can prof. Sagay of all people be guilty of fallacy. By the above statement of the learned silk, he has made himself a living offering; attacking the person order than the issue - argumentum ad hominem!

the functions, duties and responsibilities of the IGP as listed in Section 215 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria can also be carried out as mentioned in section 312 (1) of the Police Act and Regulation by a senior officer of the Force of the Rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police and Assistant Inspector General of Police who if permitted by the Inspector General of Police to act on his behalf or represent him in official capacity at any function, event or programme within and outside Nigeria and can do so in consonant with the provisions of the Police Act and Regulation.

He said it is on the basis of the above that while the Inspector General of Police is on an official assignment in Bauchi State that he delegated the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Department of Operations to represent him and honour the invitation of the Senate, Federal Republic of Nigeria in respect of the felonious offenses for which Sen. Dino Melaye was taken into Police custody, investigated and to be arraigned in the Federal High Court, Lokoja without further delay.

He added that, "Consequently, the general public are hereby implored to note that the Inspector General of Police acted rightly in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Police Act and Regulation and other extant laws by delegating the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Department of Operations to represent him at the Senate, National Assembly on 26th April, 2018 to present the Police report, actions and findings in a case of Criminal Conspiracy and Unlawful P
ossession of Prohibited Firearms and other sundry offenses indicting Senator Dino Melaye."

Did Dino Melaye as a senator honour the invitation of the police as a constituted authority when he was invited on many occasions. You can not disregard a constituted authority and you expect same authority to give honour to you. The real enemies of Nigeria are the Senators. People are being killed in Benue, Zamfara and Kaduna. The lazy Senators never deem it necessary to invite the IG, just one of them ( Dino Melaye) they suddenly deemed it fit to interrogate the IG .

Nigeria copied democracy from America, but they practice their own democracy backward in Nigeria.

In America where they practice real democracy, the Senate president or any member cannot be on trial and still keep their Senate seat or be involved in any confirmation proceedings of the FBI director or any law enforcement agency prosecuting their criminal cases, but i Nigeria, the Senate leader himself, his deputy and several members under him are under criminal trials and must confirm the appointment of the same man in charge of the prosecuting agency. You see this kind of nonsense only in a lawless country and warped democracy like Nigeria.


The Nigerian Senate is a den for lawbreakers and institutional parasites and financial burden on Nigerians. In fact, how many bills have they passed to benefit Nigerians and move Nigeria forward?

These guys have refused to pass the budget, 10months down the line. What sort of irresponsibility is tht. Their member gets invited by the police they ignore it n their pple kept shouting yahaya bello everywhere. They forgot tht institutions should be respected.

If u fail to honor d invitation of another institution, y should someone from dt institution honor ur own.

To know tht this is not a thing of herdsmen killing, if they want briefing from d police as an institution, d DIG was set to give dem all d info they need, y did they reject him

Sadly, we are saddled with ignorant and lawless lawmakers running around and calling themselves lawmakers.

All they do is form delegation to do solidarity with criminals and lawbreakers on trial, illegally interfere in law enforcement criminal proceedings or issue illegal and unconstitutional summons.

The real enemy of Democracy in Nigeria is the National Assembly.

For the past 10Months, these bunch of looters and rapists have been keeping the Budget Bill in the drawer, waiting for their hands to be greased by the executive before doing one of the simplest jobs they are being paid 20 Million Naira every month to do.

All they do is sleep, gossip, share money and look for whoever that opposes or criticizes them, to summon.

Mind you afterall, Mr President has proven time and time again that he doesnt need the budget to work, so why the fuss about thebudget when it can be passed any time! If passing of budget was that pertinent, that incompetent old man that calls himself president wont be galavanting round the globe making uncalled for comments about his own country. Atleast, he has been nigerian's money, not his personal one.

Itse Sagat or whatever he is called is a very careless man who makes careless and reckless statements because he feels he has the presidency on his side. Statements that would still come and haunt him. He encouraged Ali and many others to disregard the other arms of government and fowls the rule of law and complete disregard to constituted authorities out of personal grudge.
