Did u considers quite a number of 180million are children and youths less than 30 which by in reality in Nigeria are not yet ripe for this. Did u consider quite a number of people already own houses or are the houses seen around your village owned by aliens? Did u consider that quite a number are already old or retired and do not need this scheme? Government is a continuous process if previous governments have been working and doing things rightly, Nigeria will be better. But u all want magic in 3 years. If the billions of dollars spent on power and housing in the past 16 years was not stolen, we will probably be generating up to 300000 mega watts now. Let's assume they get interest free loans with monthly payment of N9k (half of their pre-tax salaries). In 30 years, that comes up to 9x12x30 which is N3.2m. This is impossible and unsustainable.

Emotion aside. How plausible is what Fashola is saying? Or is it another one of N1==$1 campaign promise? Fashola is just pandering to the workers to get their votes for Buhari in 2019. Nigerians should be wise by now.

To get a mortgage, you need to have job security and even the blind can see that the labour climate in Nigeria favours only the civil servants.
