the names 'otibi' and 'udeme'are not Igbo. It seems that most persons from other tribes can't tell the difference. Am guessing that it is the same reason that the writers of 'The Wedding Party 1' had to point that out when Efik dancers were brought in by the Yoruba in laws to perform for their Igbo guests,with Sola Sobowale's character telling Obiagelis character 'its for you ' and she getting the reply 'they are Efik,we are Igbo'. Exactly, I have noticed that among the westerners and northerners, only few of them can tell the difference, for others, anyplace across the Niger is Igbo.

Even some days ago, someone misunderstood this and I had to correct him.

Does it mean he has no place of his own in his village?
I learnt he's a successful lawyer, so why bury him in Lagos and not Edo state where he comes from?

This is why I'm proudly Igbo because you are not judged successful until you
can point at your own proper house in your village.

Women and men... Please I am crying out.. Do not get married if you don't understand the true meaning of marriage. Never marry a man who is not your best friend. Never marry a woman who is not your best friend. Temptations will be so intense when you are married, but you have to remember the vow at the alter.. Don't cheat on your spouses... It's better to get married late and get married to the right spouse, than getting married early and marrying a monster of a spouse who will beat you and you'll be provoked to stab him. Women are so emotional.. Men you have to be really careful. You cannot eat your cake and have it. You are married forever, not just for two days... Big difference in a wedding and a marriage..

I really enjoyed reading all you wrote up there, but in regards this relationship in question it was never an issue of marrying late or early. as you rightly pointed out it is better to marry your best friend. temptation in marriage its not a child's play, all your sinful desires starts falling into the right place as if some one somewhere has all along being watching you.

He actually married 3 wives. The girl who killed him was his 3rd wife. His first wife was called Irvine, and she had a 15 year old daughter called Tamara for him. The second wife did not have a child. After his divorce from her, he married the 3rd wife, Udeme who cut short his life.

One of my friends who is an associate professor and also a pastor in nigeria was constantly abused by his wife who is a lawyer and attempted stabbing him severely but surprisingly the church leaders enjoin him to continue in the relationship because he is a pastor. I told him to quit , when he narrated everything because no need in suffering and smiling

Let them keep managing abuses until it leads to their graves.
A good percentage of Nigerian spouses endure domestic abuse simply because pastor says...but the pastor won't ask to share their coffins with them when it happens.
