After the payment of application fee. Contact course advisor or graduate coordinator in the department for help. After payment of application fee, I had to send my transcript and forward other documents via email to the faculty of agriculture.
Josh1996:
Bosses, if anyone has applied to dalhousie university please I have some questions.
1. After paying the application fee is there a place where I can upload supporting documents
2. Do I need to send official transcript to the school before or after application
Thanks

HiSignature:
As much as i understand you, i have a lot of friends who came in from Nigeria months before their resumption. They got the same question you asked him to prepare for which for most people they say it is to help familiarize and settle down. The only restriction given at the POE for such that i have seen is the immigration officer states on their study permit that they can only work after they are registered in school.

If they do not expect that it might happen that some people would choose to come in earlier, i guess they could have as well stamped a date close to your resumption date on your TRV instead of the very date of approval which makes you admissible into Canada from that moment on.

I only answered his questions as to if it is possible to enter Canada months before his resumption which is YES.
The intentions and all that you are raising are left for him to be the judge of that if he thinks his reasons are genuine enough.

My thought

You are absolutely right! You can even enter Canada from the USA if you have valid visiting visa to the USA and valid student visa to Canada. Just make sure to have your story straight especially if you are entering Canada by land. They will think you are trying to infiltrate their borders. If you are coming into Canada by air, you are perfectly fine. Work restrictions before you start since you are allowed to work only on or off campus for 20 and 40 hours respectively at the start of school and when school is done and out of session . Hard to justify working before your school has started. You can justify to the POE why arriving three months before your studies—by saying you came to acclimatize and get used to your new environment. Visa is valid for entry from the day issued. There are no restrictions as to how early you allowed to travel to Canada as far you are not up to any nefarious activity. Many international students travel ahead of their time for resumption.

I have to add that it would be stupid not to work at all for 3 months in this country before school begins. You might as well just stay in Nigeria and come at the appropriate time. It can be expensive bruh!

It would be illegal. Such may become a problem for you later. The student visa regulations restricts work to 20 hours on or off campus during the academic year and 40 hours during school been out of session. You will be breaking the law by been employed before school starts.

Guys, please is it during eligibility review that they confirm documents such as account statement, acceptance letter, etc? My application has been under eligibility review for two weeks. But Someone here said it could take as short as two days. Please what are the chances of getting called for medicals when eligibility review has stayed for so long? Answers please....#getting scared.

Oh yes...one UBC over here. Resuming September 1. Will be submitting my application on monday, online.
Worried though as I would submitting the proof of Med Exam I did in January for my PR application.
I included in my LOE that the uploaded proof of med exam was done in January, is yet to expire but I can go for another if I am required to. By the way, I am not sure of how to address my LOE....I addressed it to the Accra VAC, since i am submitting online. Any thoughts on all these? Please share. Thanks

LadyW,

With the recent findings of different visa offices processing study permit applications for Nigerian applicants, It's best you address your letters to:

The Visa officer,
Deputy High Commission of Canada,
4 Anifowoshe Street,
Victoria Island,
Lagos, Nigeria.

Honestly it's really not good. There's something of great concern for them. I'm not saying it's a refusal but there's something going on.. please pray and hope for the best. It will end in praise

I will recommend you get your gcms note ... and see what the vo says about your application in full.
Personally I would prefer you get a MSc admission and then improve on your SOP.. Top points had been given in this page. Your intention don't have to change, make it better but first thing's first get your gcms note so we get a clearer picture. About reapplying with PgC admission its a big gamble. It can go left or right.. Regards

.

Please stop dropping 3rd party link here, you have done this 2x now.

Please i need an answer to this question:

My sponsor is a business man. Apart from providing his personal account SOA, business registration and tax clearance, letter of sponsor, does he also need to provide SOA of his business account to show source of income?

The screenshot below shows how sponsor should show proof of business and it says somtyn about providing SOA of business account too.

Please, am asking because i dont want a situation where he will provide SOA of business account as well and the VO will think that he wants to sponsor from his company's account and might start checking to see if he also provided a letter from the board members attesting to that fact.

Please what can you say about this gurus in the house. Thanks.

See screenshot below

Biometrics is done at VFS Lekki, Ekate bus stop then cross to the other side of the road(if you are coming from the first tollgate. Ask anyone around where VFS office is and they will show you(trekable)

LadyW,

That's not true! All paper applications can't be processed in Lagos. The irony of this is that some paper applications are taken to Nairobi and Accra Visa Office to be processed in order to facilitate the visa processing time. Besides, the lagos visa office started handling study permit applications as at the beginning of this year.

Online applications can be treated in any part of the world, be it Turkey, London, Kenya and Accra. Recent findings indicates that most online applications are treated at Turkey, Nairobi or London. But that doesn't implies that it can't be transferred to any country of their choice, cic are unpredictable. Do your best and leave the rest to God.
