Your understanding of Nigeria's politics is still very low. This is a local government election among local people who know each other closely. It is always keenly contested once the election is free of rigging. The dynamics change seriously once it is the presidential election. All those guys that voted PDP in the local government election will vote based on religion and ethnicity and other similar considerations. Party no longer matters at that stage. From the result that I have seen from Kaduna so far, it's a done deal for Buhari in the state. He will sweep the state clean. And yeah, the shites voted in the election and APC still won Zaria.
