Echiejile experience doesn't count again but performance cos at club level his experience did not help him in lowly Belgium division two,so better for him to prove to Rohr that he is still the man to beat.

I don't see Agbo and Agu making it based on last friendlies, Agbo has not played under Rohr but keep on getting invitation and Agu was dropped until he was called to replace injured Etebo.

On goalkeeper it will take a great performance from Ajiboye to make it cos Rohr doesn't rate him but on level playing ground h

e should be among the best three.

Boss, his experience counts,if it doesn't, he won't make d list at first instance judging from his exploit dis season,wc has been poor cool

Great list!

Samy and Lokosa great input

23 man list is already known

Just hope there will not be no injury worries before the mundial.

good list but. back in the days home based lads would have had an undisputed quota hindering better players abroad from making it to the world cup. big ups rohr!!! grin grin grin grin
Sir we still have Ezenwa, Ajiboye, Lokosa or let me say Eze cos he made the list based on his exploit as home based not as Bulgaria based player.

Really good for NPFL having 3 or 4 players in 30 man list that cannot accommodate Kayode,Alampasu, Kalu,Oyekwuru, Sadiq Umar,Olayinka,Nwakaeme etc.

have seen agbo play when he was in la liga but dont know how much he has improved since moving to belgium, if not for anything he has been super active in belgium and rohr insistence in him signifies he posses some good qualities. will love to see him against congo and atletico madrid. the little i have seen in his game he is better than mikel agu. as for elderson like you said his experience is worthless if he wasnt able to find it easy in the belgian 2nd division, that's appalling. when finally dropped from the final 23 he should just call it a day in international football

how two of them wan take go na? we will have at least 3 dedicated CBs in the final list. And you think Stephen Eze would make the list?

Toylove:

I think omeruo and awaziem will go
Simy will join lokosa

I remember metaljigsaw saying Lokosa deserved to be on the list but some waive it cos of home based tag, meaning good to be hardworking.

Oyekwuru the injury did not help the young man, still young, hope to see him in post WC.

Dele Aiyenugba, well Rohr already made up his mind on Uzoho, Akpeyi, Ezenwa and Ajiboye.

Kayode,i think is a lesson to our players to always look at their future before signing any contract, man city was a mistake.

Good list but Ajiboye, Eze,Lokosa,Agbo,Agu,and Nwankwo will need to work their socks off before they can make 23 man list.

Yes Sir AiG... Form and this....

Simy got this recognition and chance because he is doing the deed in a BIG LEAGUE {a top 5 league in Europe) and in a position (CF) that Rohr feels he can get maybe one more player to add firepower or battle Ighalo for his spot. Or maybe even complement as his backup? Time will tell...
One thing I know is that Musa, Iwobi, Moses, Simon, Iheanacho, and Ighalo are WC bound. The only question is whether Simy will be our 7th forward or if he will be dropped with Lokosa and we go with Six forwards... This here is the little mathematical puzzle.

I'll prefer 7forwards 6Midfielders and 7Defenders. But if Rohr decides to take 6forwards which is unlikely, then I'll like the one slot to be given to the defence.

Me think it'll be injustice to carry one of Agu or Agbo to the World cup.

Sir am a man of experience like icon4s but a performance by Echiejile would do the talking not solely on experience due to his form.

He had fallen behind, hope to see him back in form and make the team but based on last friendlies he was number five behind Shehu,Idowu,Ebuehi and Aina.

It's simple Ebuehi replaced Shehu against Poland and started Serbia

Bryan Idowu was replaced by Aina against Serbia and Echiejile on the bench.

Elderson just need to tell us he is still the man or do you think Mikel,Moses are making the team based on experience but performance.

No player who was part of the qualifiers will be dropped.....very evident from the list...Rohr is conservationist...he would not like to break the team s chemistry and cohesion...those other names are not so wonderful to displace the dependables....nothing extra ordinary about their play...

30 man list..

No playing around.. All expected

Simy Nwankwo, Lokosa make the list.

What were we going to do with a 35man list in the first place.

7 players to drop:

1. One of Akpeyi/ Ajiboye(more likely)
2. Stephen Eze
3. One of Echiejile/Aina(more likely)
4. Uche Agbo
5. Mikel Agu
6. Junior Lokosa.
7. **** This slot would have been kept for Simi Nwankwo. But I would rather want him to make the list because Ighalo is the only natural CF on that list. But that remains if he comes out good from the camping and warm up games. But if Simi remains, which other forwards would be dropped? The other forwards look untouchable. I would rather go back to the defense to drop one more.

lakosa's inclusion is commendable because of his exploit in the ongoing season in the local league, if he wasnt included so many myopic fans will cry foul, this feat will go a long way to encourage a lot of local players to work hard so that they can attract a look in by the national team coaches.
the likes of onyekuru, umar and co are the future of the team so their time will definitely come

The Super Eagles fan in me wants Echiejile dropped to be honest Sir AIG... His so called experience can be forgone because in Balogun, Ekong and Shehu we have experiemce too and leaders in that defence.
Also, Aina and Idowu at LB/LWB should do the job for us buuuutttttttt.....

The Analyst in me says otherwise... I know it won't be so straightforward as I have earlier said... Rohr's biggest decision lies in the Echiejile in or out question. And honestly the analyst in me cannot speak on what Rohr will do in this Echiejile matter. But I am hoping he makes the best choice here. That's all.

One thing is for sure, Rohr was not influenced.. You can not see any strange agent influenced name there. Simy and Lokosa were rewarded simply for apparent good form.
