My take on the matter is, whatever the situation is, always talk to a doctor!. Now, u mustn't talk to your 'family' doctor or even any doctor that is close to your parents cuz honestly if i was in the pregnant girl's shoe, i wont dare do that. There are one thousand and one well trained doctors out there that are ever willing to be of help.

The lady was exploited because she was young and naive.
I'm a doctor, and I get a chaperon for my female patients that are teenagers or young adult that requires detailed' examination even without their request.
Patients need to know that too. They could politely ask the doctor for a chaperon.

Lol @every hole openable. I don't know where people get these notions from. I think it's because they expect doctors to be more pious than the general populace. Being randy has nothing with being a doctor per se. It's an individual issue. A person who wants to be randy would be.

I for one would definitely be grateful for the "serious prayers everyday" provided it's not as a result of trust issues.

However, Am truly happy and sure that, this among other things are impossible and guarded against by Islam. Because, it is a male for male and female for female; patient and doctor respectively.
While, there is no absolute Sharia Law in force in our country, we may try to apply its provision to the best of our abilities.
Ensure your spouse visit a clinic with both sexes as its staff, ascertain that the same sex attend to him or her.
We really need to be on top of our lives as morality and sincerity and fading.

Oh Because Sharia is an irritating normal. Agreed, I might have appeared sentimental, but I didn't support her view directly, I said nurses being present will help the situation, but not totally. it'll only partly curtail wrong acts like handling and etc. The person said it can't be completely curtailed except it's a female doctor in charge which isn't wrong. This can be communicated politely if you suspect any unhealthy motive by something like 'Doc, I'll be more comfortable if a female nurse can be in attendance pls.' If he is sensible, he would get your point and not try anything funny and for Randy docs who don't know, examining a female client without an attending chaperone is invitation to lawsuits that can crumble your career in weeks and enrich pockets. Nigerians are waking up these days and are ready to stand for their rights. Taking advantage of women should not be your motivation for seeking that profession.
