Exactly. They probably won't respond to my tweet, but I will keep searching for his phone number.

It's a risk that we don't have to take. Ebola is not a laughing matter. Look at a country like Morocco even decided risk CAF's wrath by withdrawing from hosting AFCON due to the fear of Ebola. But our mugulicious Nigerians would rather expose themselves and the entire country to Ebola just because of the small money they stand to gain.

Most of the DRC players are foreign based, aren't they?

The risk is small IMO

Like I said, that might be the case but their officials, supporters crew, and other contingents travelling with them are home based. And it only takes ONE infected individual to spread the disease.

Yes, the risk is small but it's still a risk. And that's one risk we really don't have to take, IMHO.

She was not wrong but dead wrong because nowhere in Igbo land does lesbian marriage exist...It is not in our culture. However, what you have are old women who has lost their husband and didnt have male child are encouraged by the umunna to marry a wife IN THE NAME OF THE DECEASED HUSBAND and find somebody to impregnate her. Most of the women married into this marriage are societal rejects like girls who got pregnant out of wedlock...In Igbo land or Anambra to be precise we look down on girls who got pregnate, had the baby in their fathers house and didnt get married.

Chimamanda is out of her mind and I hope to run into her one day. Her feminism project is getting to her head, she is a writer not a historian.
The Tivs of Benue State practice same culture but such women are not looked down upon. It's a culture that dying out though.

So you would have preferred Baruwa or Willy Opara to have kept goal in that WC? At least I posted the throw back Videos of the Yuguslavia and Holland games where Baruwa and Opara were disgraceful. Rufai was the best option. That was the plain truth.

France 98 is just a typical example of what will happen when your goalkeeping department has question marks
Truth remains that Opara was not given the chance to show what he can do. Please it was Rufai that was in goal against Holland & not willy d cat. He only played against Germany when Ike was removed. We lost 1:0 and I mean it, no GK could be caught that ball. But what did Bora Multivitamin say. He prefers tall GK. There comes Rufai against Holland and we went home with 5 goals. Willy was our best choice. He was the best in SA and was just fresh from winning Champions league with Orlando pirates. But we dug up Rufai that was not even playing football.
The video of all d matches are on U tube. Nig vs Holland 1998. Nig vs Germany.
Willy was not given any chance EOD.

Like people have continued to harp on about Echiejile, Like people have continued to harp on about Iheanacho, like people have continued to harp on about Onazi and so on.

Put a rookie as our CF I don't mind. But putting a rookie as our goalkeeper, I am not comfortable with.

The Goalkeeping position is the most important single position in the entire team. So I need to be concerned bro.

But if you don't have issues with that and do not feel like discussing it, no problem.

At bolded, you think i am not bothered?... You think that I am not scared about a rookie Manning our post?.. Heck!.. I am sure as hell that i might even be more scared than you about him, but the difference is i refuse to feed on my negative thoughts concerning his upcoming performance. Unlike you who is not just feeding on your negative thoughts but also trying to infect us with it.

nice line up bros but I think we need to ease this new guys in. Why not start ndidi, mikel and obi. When resuming for second half, substitute for Agbo then later ndidi for Agu maybe mikel for Etebo. I think this will enable them to blend in with some confidence (quote author=tbaba1234 post=67675311]My starting lineup for DRC

smart line-up. No need to risk the main team against a team that has nothing to loose if all their players get injured.

it's not a must win encounter. It's an opportunity to access the fringe players.

The idea is to give the coach, one last look at the players most likely to be dropped so Agu should be looked at.

I think, we should use the game to finalize who should be dropped.

and you think you don't need Ahmed MuSA , as much as you need the other players , don't forget , Ahmed Musa is so used to the environment and i believe he will do well going by his recent club performance ... we will need him more he should also be treated with all manners of Care grin

I know, that doesn't mean we should care less of what happens at the end of the day. Agu isn't a realiable player, adding a fringe player to a poor Agu isn't a good idea either.

I just got news that the Ebola crisis has moved out of the rural areas in DRC and is now spreading to the cities. 11 of DRC’s players are home based. More cases of the virus have been reported. Should Pinnick just cancel the match?

DRC's FA really needs to be flogged. It beats me how they let Preston Kimpembe slip through their fingers. I mean a boy that was a member of DRC u17 set up just few years ago IS now going to the world Cup today as a France international and he's about the youngest player in the France squad.

I pray Ejaria's case doesn't turn out same ooo

Lol I checked after asking. You are right. Ah I must have felt really bad that day to think it was worse than that. Okocha besides his shooting over the bar several times, was something else in that game.

TheSuperNerd:
Na 4-1 oooo.... The 5-1 you recall must be the Netherlands friendly before the mundial. I know Yugoslavia best us 3-0 too. Hope I am not mixing this up too... Lol

*Nigeria 3-1croatia*
*Iceland 0-1nigeria*
*Nigeria 2-2 Argentina*

Super Eagles top group with 7* *point face Denmark in round of 16 Denmark 1-2 Nigeria quarter final Nigeria 1-0 Poland win extra time

semi final France 2-3 Nigeria final Brazil 5-6 Nigeria* *penalty shootout super eagle win world cup

(A spirit is telling me this but I don't know the spirit )

Maybe it is the spirit of transmission transition, transfusion confusion

Let me continue my calculation

Turkish Side Istanbul Basaksehir Close To Signing Sfaxien Kingsley Sokari For N600, 000000

Hot in demand Sfaxien of Tunisia Nigerian midfielder Kingsley Sokari is closing in on a dream move to emerging football power house in Turkey Istanbul Basaksehir.

Owngoalnigeria.com editorial team picked up an article on infosport-tunisie.net where it was reported that Sfaxien are already in talks with the Turkish side over the transfer of the 22 year old.

Per the report a bid was lodged by the Turkish side on the 17 to 18th of April but it fell below the demands of Sfaxien, who are keen on selling him to a club abroad rather than their local rival Etoile Du Sahel who have already failed with a bid.

Sfaxien are demanding a fee believed to be in the region of €1.5m which is higher than the €800,000 bid made by the Turkish side in their opening bid for the Nigerian who has a year left on his deal with Sfaxien.

The two clubs are however expected to continue talks over his transfer and from all indication an agreement might not be far off as Sfaxien won’t want to lose him on a free when his contract expires at the end of next season.
