It is called Nepotism, and I am surprise when Nigerians cry all over social media about competence. You do not appoint someone to work with you without knowing his core competence. Buhari has an agenda to fulfill and there are certain people who can help him achieve that, and he needed positions these people can handle and he moved these gentlemen to head the institutions.

The plan must be executed, even if Buhari is out of line, they are the ones who tell the President that the intended mission can only work this way or that way, even if it means disobeying the President, in the end, the President is satisfied, because his Team, aka Cabal, are working towards an Agenda.

All these are subjective to me but he hasn't demonstrated he was qualified for that office in the first place

He is not qualified, but he has another competence, which fits into an Agenda. In Nigeria, positions are not given on merit, each President is saddled with a responsibility of choosing someone who can work with him to fulfill his Agenda. For Buhari, Idris fits his style of Leadership, remember that Osinbanjo can not match a Tunde Idiagbon, that was Buhari's Vice in the early 80s, so he needs people who can kill and maim on orders. The leopard didnt change its skin, so Idris and Buratai are supposed to be his Idiagbon, while following this guidance on the Agenda.

We are on the same page, but you are not seeing the larger picture. That is if you know there is a picture.

These facts are damning. Imagine the number of DIGs and AIGs retired. Imagine the number of votes in Kano. Imagine the unexplainable demise of the Kano REC. He perfected his job and he was rewarded for it. I for one all knew this man must have something on Buhari to have this confidence. This is sad!

I don't give transmission attention to these guys anymore. However, what bleeds my heart is that the surrounding, sound ladies and gents of intellect, with various degrees from around the globe, are taking transmission orders from these bunkoos. A case of a man who thinks he can drive and doesn't even know the way and they still force him to drive. Such a man is ruling this country. Sad!

Blinded by sentiments and tribal superiority. The scam going on in NNPC presently is just being swept under the carpet, with sai Baba as the petroleum minister. The nation’s Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim seems to have risen above the law of the land and control of the president who appointed him. This is as extremely worrisome as it is setting a terrible precedence in the country.

Meanwhile, record has it that Ibrahim Idris was in 2015 the Police Commissioner in charge of Kano state when he superintended the delivery of millions of votes to the APC.

He was still the same police boss in-charge of Kano state when the INEC Commissioner for the state was burnt to death with his wife and two children in a rather unexplainable circumstance. It will be recalled that President Buhari garnered nearly two million votes in the most populous northern state during the 2015 presidential election.

Meanwhile, curious but disturbing questions need to be asked on the circumstances surrounding the appointment of Ibrahim Idris as the IGP in the first instance.

What could have led to the to compulsorily retirement of 21 AIGs and 7 DIGs just for Ibrahim Idris to become the IGP ? What other factor could have been responsible for the unprecedented promotions given to Ibrahim Idris from the rank of Commissioner of Police in 2015 to Assistant Inspector General, to Deputy Inspector General and Inspector General of Police all from year 2015 to 2016?

We also need to know what could have made the IGP disobeyed the instruction of the president without any consequence till date ?

Another probing question is what was the good quality seen in Ibrahim Idris by President Buhari at the time of his appointment that was not found in any of his compulsorily retired 28 seniors? We need not be told that Idris had been merely compensated for his hatchet job in the 2015 presidential election held in Kano and the subsequent cover-up in the investigation of circumstances leading to and surrounding the death of the INEC Commissioner.

It is most regrettable that Ibrahim Idris has now constituted himself into an authority that cannot be questioned; as a result has become so emboldened to have conveniently disobeyed several Senate invitations. It is particularly very sad that the man even feels at ease in the face of mindless bloodletting across the country.

However, no sinner can hide behind one finger for too long. The dirty past of the IGP has been exposed and the earlier he is relieved of his position, the faster solutions could be found to the reign of impunity and ceaseless killings across the land. Time is now for President Buhari to remove the IGP from office and safe the nation from further gruesome killings and maiming.

this is corruption fighting back. We see the hands Saraki in this new epistle. Bring out any yamayama you can find on the IGP. We know PMB will do the needful hence you are trying to make it look as if the IGP is blackmailing the president.

Buhari doesn't have the balls to remove him, he has so much on him. The only way is for the presidency to plan a natural removal but Idris is a pure SKD!

The major problem we have in this country are we the citizens. Nigerians tolerate too much. Even at the point of Death, Nigerians will still tolerate. In a sane country, 90% of President Buhari’s Appointment which we all know are based on Nepotism, Tribalism and Religion can never be accepted by any citizens, anywhere in the world. Even at that, almost all appointees by APC are disastrous. We are really finished in this country. Buhari will not remove him. He retired over 21 AIG's in other to make this commissioner an IG. He rigged election in kano in favor of Buhari when he was posted to kano to oversee 2015 election. IGP came as a reward. Why do you think he has been behaving the way he has without fear. Flouted a direct order of the President, nothing happened. Refused severally to appear with a Senate summon, nothing happened. I'm sure Buhari will want him to remain there at least until after the Elections. May God help this country.
