Lol... I've had two since the first week ntel started operations. Recently got the WAWU sim. I'm surprised that you haven't noticed the capping. Don't you download with it?

Is the WAWU good and offer good speed? I rarely download with it but often stream

Can u show us "last cleared"? Cos this may be device lifetime used.

Why it's important is the timeframe will give a good indication of the performance of the network..make person nor enta one chance.

The WAWU plans' speed isn't capped, but tends to stop intermittently when downloading, like after every 20-30MB, which is very frustrating. I think it is better at streaming.

Already did...my last usage from March 12 - 19 was 230.3GB. Add that up for me, because I doubt you've cleared your usage in some time.

How much for ntel mifi and sim
Here's a piece of advice: Don't buy their Mi-Fi, it can't be unlocked...If Ntel begins to mess up more than this you'd regret. The sim is free, though you have you purchase a N1000 sub immediately.

Currently, Ntel's network is messing up, or am I the only one facing this?, No network at Maryland, Fadeyi, Ikeja Airport, Egigbo, where else do they now have network? at least before I get very strong network at Egigbo, I now don't understand what is happening!

Let me clear your doubt

If you use swift, you know that it's based on per subscription basis.. so don't fret.
Every time I subscribe it clears

So don't be adding previous month's usage. That's my may usage... Just for kicks I can choose to be downloading irrelevant things just to rub it in

I'm having serious problems with my Ntel.. I just did the 3k for 50G and I haven't been able to use it for the past couple of days. The network has been slower than 2G.. I'm so confused.. I'm wondering is it the WAWU data that's been throttled or what.. Please any1 using Ntel unlimited plan here.. How has your network been for the past couple of days.. Has it been alright? I wanna know before I go and pay for unlimited plan for a month. Thanks in Advance..

I swear I miss my spectranet.. It's just that NTEL was over cheap compared to SPEC.. But come rain, sun and snow my spectranet has always turned up for me

Chill mate...Ntel's messing up hard. I'm getting 54KB/s on download while Youtube streams okay. Hence, if you don't want to use the Unlimited plan to stream Youtube through out the plan don't sub for it.

Right now, I'm getting GPRS speed on our beloved Ntel "4G" LTE. If you are also getting 30KB/s to 120KB/s, don't just come here and complain. Call their bloody Cc.

that’s pretty bad from NTEL... If the network keeps up like this they would lose customers.. They had better fix their network issues or stop the wawu thing

I thought it was my location, because i had full 4G bars but was struggling to pass 150KB/s

I was starting to think, buying it was a bad idea

If you dont want to appear frustrated for now, just avoid ntel, expecially their so called WAWU sim. I culdnt bliv I culd be receiving as low as 0.15kb/s on a network that claims to be only on 4G / LTE broadband. Sooo pathetic. I just switched to my mtn ipulse weekly 1GIG for #500 now. Yesterday was the worst when the network was disappearing and re-appearing every seconds. Let me bliv they know what they are doing as far as WAWU sim is concern, cos I culd stream without buffer on YouTube but to open just nairaland site among others with just uc mini, menhhhh, na different story

I posted on this forum a few days back that in the coming days, if ntel keep up with this WAWU promo, it would become impossible to open a single page, and it's already happening.

The difference between us is you are a heavy downloader while I rarely download but often stream contents. Secondly it's not a lifetime usage but only Ntel usage

Interesting discovery this evening.

Ntel has 2 active LTE bands.

Band 3 1800+ Mhz and Band 8 900Mhz

I found a way to force my phone on either band for testing.

Band 8 is terrible. Slow. Poor signal quality

Band 3 is much better. Waaaaay better..

I'm willing to bet those people who have decent Ntel speeds are the ones who are on band 3.

But thing is, the quality on each band may differ according to your area sha.

And this works only on phones as far as I know

For how to lock it?

What I learnt was that lower frequency are better, why is Ntel own different or there was an issue with the band 8, cos band 8 used to be better..

What if my device only support band 3.. ?

I'm sure quality on each band varies from location to location.

Band 8 at my end barely has signal sef so......

If your device has just 1 band. Sorry.

I'm using both bands at once, ntel supports 4g+ the problem I'm having is the coverage, I was getting 2bars before with speed of 2.5MB but as of last week was not getting any bars inside the house

Hi house!

So I did a speed test on an ntel mifi I saw near my area in Abuja and it was zero point something.

So I decided to renew my spectranet which has been working great for me.

Thank you.
