Miui ram management is too aggressive for my liking, on my Redmi Note 5 4gb/64 I will just open a few apps only to come back and meet them closed. My 3 yr old Asus ZenFone 2 4gb/32 memory management is far better.

The battery is excellent( I get an average of 10hr SOT on a full charge) would wager that the 3300mah on the sd450 would perform same with the 4000mah on the sd435 and the display isn't bad. Have you seen the redmi 5 in real life?
