Even you too can free prisoners. Some people are in the prison just because they couldn't pay the fine. Some prison sentences come with an option of fine.

Those who couldn't pay the fine and up spending the time.

yes you can free prisoners by paying the optional release charge put on them. Many are sentenced with an option of paying some money back to the government or serving prison term if they cannot pay. Most civil cases are under this category, many are in prison because they cannot pay the money the court asked them to pay. Eg street hawking in lagos is with a fine of 50,000 naira or you serve 3 months in prison if you cant pay. So ahmed musa must have paid off their fine. Hope you understand now

Yes, even you can free some prisoners.

There are lots of prisoners serving sentences having fine options, so after payment of the stipulated fine, they walk free.
