That is not a good excuse for laziness. For all the things you preach on this thread about successful men such Bill Gates, Warren Buffett .....etc, you certainly don't live up to what you espouse. Sad! I hope that would be an unacceptable excuse[/b] when your son or daughter brings home a poor grade from school when you know they could have done better.

You happen to be an uneducated little child, there's a difference between grammatical error and passing a wrong message, Dru23 always use own instead of owe
and spellings were correct but have two totally different meaning and I politely called his attention to it and he accepted. Now you spill rubbish like we on this thread are some local yellow cab drivers without other things.

Would take 20k deposit as the barest minimum. No 20k deposit no deal.

Boss, why are you limiting the liabilities of the Guarantor to just 30k.

I think a Guarantor is a person who guarantee to pay for someone else’s debt if he/she should default on a pre-agreed obligation. A Guarantor also acts as a co-signer of sorts, in that they pledge their own assets or services if a situation arises in which the original debtor cannot perform their obligations.

A Guarantor is also known as a Surety.

So sir, don’t limit the liability of a Guarantor to a mere 30k.

Collect your Security Deposit or if possible do upfront rental payment but never limit the liability of a Guarantor.

You’re absolutely right about that.

Drivers and some Driver turned Fleet Fleeing Manager used that line a lot.

Some would even come to rain abuse on you as a car owner but advise them to upgrade to a car owner and see the start of WW 3 on yourself.

If you can’t meet the demand of a car owner, skip the request and allow other that can do get the opportunity.

Also they forget that there is something called negotiation. Just because a car owner asked for A doesn’t mean if you present your case, he/she can’t reason with you.

In Business Law, there is something called Offer and Counter-Offer.

I just gave my first car out 13 weeks precisely and the driver is yet to default once or come up with any excuse, before giving him the vehicle he had no experience with uber or taxify and i had to help him with the registration because he his a very good driver . so i agree with you 100% on this, general driving experience is more important that the driving on uber , personally i think those ones experienced with uber/taxify are the ones that think they can outsmart you

The most dangerous ones .... To fear them is the beginning of wisdom....

Guarantor is overrated
You have collected an upfront Incase of default,
You have a comprehensive insurance Incase of theft, fire and accidents.
You also have a car tracker that makes you 100% in control of the car.

PLEASE, WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED A GUARANTOR FOR.

LORD LUGARDS!!!!

LORD LUGARDS!!!!

The Simple Answer: Go to the nearest dealership to you, buy a car and start driving it.

The Complex Answer: There are something insurance do not cover, things like negligence, drink-driving, etc. So if you are like the HENRY, Sir Gazzuzz talked about, you think I don’t have other important things to use millions of Naira for other than buy a car and have a driver destroyed it in the name of mere weekly rental.

The StraightForward Answer: if you don’t want to provide Guarantors, come to the other side of the business. We would like to use you as a test case on why car owners should stop collecting Guarantors before giving drivers key to their car.

Please pick one that reasonate with you.

Presently going for 25K (without Online Platform), 30K (with Lifetime access to online platform/app).

Call us on 09032614208 to schedule an installation.

Website: www.mymoto.com.ng
Tracker page: https://mymoto.com.ng/product/vehicle-car-pickup-commercial-trucks-gps-tracker-h02-tracker-nigerian-configured/
Office Location: 3-9 Olu Koleosho Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.

(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.

We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.

If you have had personal experiences also, kindly share with us.

WE STILL INSTALL THE MOST AFFORDABLE TRACKERS AROUND STARTING FROM 25K (VARIES WITH CAR MODEL).

CONTACT US ON 09032614208 OR 08060675824. More details on tracker: https://mymoto.com.ng/why-you-should-install-the-mymoto-security-tracker/

WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE PLATFORMS FOR MONITORING/STOPpING YOUR CAR.

YOU'VE SPENT QUITE MUCH TO ACQUIRE YOUR CAR, SECURE IT WITH A TRACKER. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...

Story 2
Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car grin

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Emekayoung(m): 1:48pm On May 23, 2018
Zoharariel:

It is true. I decline any trip going beyond Abraham Adesanya round about towards Epe axis because the taxify app doesn't calculate the fare correctly.

I guess it has to do with the GPS mapping or something.

About 3months ago, I picked-up a female rider from “Megamound Ave” inside Lekki County Homes.

She wanted to go drop some stuffs to her younger sister who is schooling at the
Pan Atlantic University (Km 52, Lekki-Epe Expressway after Eleko Beach Junction).

The lady told me I'd have to bring her back to The Palms and that she needed to pick-up a friend inside Abraham Adesanya Estate on our way.

I began to jubilate & gyrate clandestinely because I thought the trip would fetch me atleast 12k grin

We kicked off & it took me close to 40minutes to even pick-up her friend inside Abraham Adesanya Estate because:

1.) The friend did not have authority or clearance to invite any guest into the Estate, so she had to wait for her grandmother to call the security at the gate to allow us in.

2.) The lady in my car did not know her friend's address because it was her first time of visiting, so we had to ask around.

Eventually, we picked up the friend and the journey to Pan Atlantic University began.

Mehn! The traffic na die. It took me over an hour to locate the University and then another 1hour to drop both of them at the Palms.

I ended the trip while smiling - only for me to see 2,500Naira on the app. It was a cash trip.

I wanted to shout so people can gather & help me collect my money from the riders but then Orunmila quickly nudged me to keep quiet because I wasn't driving a yellow cab. grin

I drove out of the Palms & parked outside. I contemplated on the irunmole to invoke to help me burn down Taxify's office including all the drivers in training session.

Orunmila then reminded me to remember the day I picked up a rider from Mega Chicken Lekki to Igando and the fare was 13k - after which I just branched at “Funmec Joint” along Shasha Rd to eat a plate of hot pepper soup with 2 bottles of Heineken around 1pm - while other drivers were still hunting for riders. grin

I nodded my head in affirmation like an agama lizard & then drove home!
Something must have gone wrong with ur GPS. I once took someone from Femi okunnu estate in jakande shoprite road to that same pan Atlantic university. I got there and ended the trip, what I saw was 3900. I was very angry because I was expecting atleast 4800 or there about. And it was only a drop off. So urs was a GPS error.
