Yes nwakali is not good enough for SE no doubt but he is not a striker he is a central midfielder so how many goals do you want him to score ?

He played 30 games this season with 5 goals and 2 assist,so you want him to score as a striker ?

If this is the way you think stop watching football and stick to hockey...#anothermanwithnoclue#

According to Wiki he has played 45 games over the past two seasons in the Dutch leagues and scored 4 goals.

I did not say he is striker but a forward player that may seem ambiguous from me. But I use the term generically, he is specifically an AM.

Is 4 goals from 45 games in the easiest league to score goals in Europes top 20 leagues OUTSTANDING to you ❓

Less of the derogatory terms and stick to the established facts from which you can deduce an informed opinion.

If Athletico played like that against a full strength Nigerian squad, They will lose. It is easy to score when you want against the players that they played against. It will be harder against more seasoned pros.

I dont know why you guys are trying so hard to beat down the performance of the Nigerian boys against Athletico by these suggestive posts. For goodness sake, our main team huffed and puffed against Corsica.
Football is not mathematics, you cannot tell what will happen on match day. I recall how people here stuck out their necks and swore to almighty God that SA will not beat us.

I am speaking about this season okay and he is just 19.

How many goals has iniesta scored this season ?

In 44 matches one of the greatest midfielders ever has 2 goals and 4 assists

Was Xavi a goal scorer? Even Sergio Ramos scored more goals than xavi, nwakali is not a striker he can get no goal for all I care.

You are trying to bring a point when there is no point, you can't hide your hatred,it is in you

So Arsenal have finally confirmed Unai Emery as their new coach....

What are Iwobi's chances like in Emery's reign?

Anyway, I believe a great WC for Iwobi will make Emery take early notice of him before he even returns to The emirates to meet his new manager.

Emery play an attacking style , i think Iwobi will do well if given the chance he had with Wenger

And Wiki is your best source for info on a player? Wow! No wonder your stats are so off-tangent... Lol... So four goals is what you saw? Wow... And in same source, it says he has played over 40 games in the Eredivisie ba? Lol

With all you claim to know about this and that about players scouting and all, I am really disappointed to see this.... It is indeed a shame. Big shame.

lol I taught Epl is the best league in Europe ?

Sit there and talk about how many teams are in the last 16,they are 5 Epl teams in the last 16 so how many succeed ? Thanks to Liverpool

For the past years Epl has been a failure in Europe, you think the richest league means the best club, seems you can brag about 5 Epl teams in the last 16 why are there no all England final ?

Even Everton and co have been a disgrace to the Europa league,Everton could not even make it out of the group stage they failed to record a win against the back waters league team.

Mancity can buy players from small teams like Bilbao

Man united can get player to the first team from small club like Bilbao, even arsenal can buy from Malaga, but a Barcelona or Madrid will never buy from Newcastle Everton and stoke,Chelsea can buy from fiorentina and the player will make first team, but Italian champions juventus cant buy from Everton, this says a lot of the teams.

So who is first seems Epl is second ?

Spain is first.

Getting to the last 16 of the Champions league is an achievement in itself.

I actually believe if Liverpool had not been put against Man city we could have had two EPL teams in the Semi finals.

Okocha was playing in Europe with Eintracht Frankfurt, Fenerbache and PSG. Eintracht Frankfurt was a top 5 side in Germany when Okocha was there.

In fact, Bolton was the first time Okocha was playing for a club that was not fighting for the league title.

I just left him to his exaggerations.

Lol you got no excuse this time, you and forgiveness think say na only una know stats ....southgate and Roy hodgson spotted

Geting to the last 16 should not be an achievement for English club it should be an achievement for Norway and Denmark club,is this how you want to belittle the Epl?

Even teams like Cska Moscow most times make the last 16,fc Basel Porto are regular in the last 16 so why will it be an achievement for English club? Be careful sir

Lol you have no clue man, keep on disgracing your self

Did kayode flop or not ? 12 games no goal and you don't want to call him flop?

Nwakali was loaned to another club he had a good stint in that club the first time he was loaned there.

Someone made team of the week no goals and no assist ? What are you smoking, you can't hide the fact you are a tribalist

This is coming from someone who defended and clarified Kelechi Nwakali's position but can't tell us what position Kayode played. grin

See him trying to put down his team of the week performance just to prove a point.

Thank God you are not those who deemed him good enough to make the list and noticed his ability else you have joined that Icon to scream, na amala boy, e will rub us with ewedu hence commot am for list. grin

Where did they loan him to? A division 2 club in the Dutch league.

Were you not one of those that mocked Kayode when you heard a rumor he was living la Liga for Amiens claiming because he was not good enough but surprisingly shocked to see him moved to Shakhtar Donetsk were you also claimed he was not going to see game time?
grin

For your information, Kayode made the player of the month ahead of those players in Shakhter Donetsk. Sorry. grin

How many people today know about the Van Basten, Zico, Gerd Muller, etc? If you are not Pele or Maradona, only football people will know you. Anyone with a knowledge of football knows Jay-Jay.
Do you know that yesterday I began typing mentioning how many people know Van Basten specifically. I just felt I was arguing with a brickwall and deleted it. There was no need as he was becoming increasingly ridiculous with his exaggerations.

Kayode already got his chance and Rohr deemed him not good enough to make the 30 man list. Stop the crying. At least Kayode is young and can still fight another day. Let’s wait for Rohr’s final verdict on K.Nwakali post-Russia, and watch him grab it with both hands.

sentiment apart kelechi nwakali flopped in venlo before dropping to the dutch 2nd division where he had a decent season. notwithstanding he is still young and still have a lot to learn but his talent is obvious. kayode making the team of the month once during his stint with girona will not shadow the fact that he flopped big time in the league. a striker who couldnt score a goal from last summer when he joined girona till the winter transfer window before he joined schaktar donestk has no place in the current eagles set up.his resurgence in ukraine was too late for him to be included and rohr who have monitored him severally knows what he wants in a striker which i doubt kayode possesses. no doubt kayode is a good player but he really need to make good statement for him to deserve a place in rohr's team. kelechi nwakali from what i saw in his came yesterday is a work in progress but should not be rushed so that much expectation wont weigh him down. i advice he should be in the team after the world and serve as an understudy to aging john obi mikel.

Manu Garba Takes Pride In Musa Muhammed’s Display Against Atletico Madrid – He Is A Born Leader

Coach of the Nigeria U17 team Manu Garba has hailed the performance of Musa Muhammed for the Super Eagles B team in yesterday’s 2-3 friendly loss to Atletico Madrid.

Musa Muhammed captained the Nigerian team in the encounter and Manu who nurtured the defender at U17 and 20 level, where he was captain of his team says Nigerians should expect more from the Istanbul Basaksehir man.

”I have always maintained that he has the quality to play at the highest level, so his performance yesterday didn’t come as a surprise to me. He is a born leader and that is why I named him captain of my U17 and 20 team”, Manu told Owngoalnigeria.com in an exclusive chat.

Rated as one of the surest candidate for the right back spot of Nigeria in the future, Musa lost his way following a big money move to Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir, where he is yet to get a game in the league after three years at the club.

However Manu said his loan time with Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plovdiv has helped his confidence and he is beginning to grow as expected when he first burst on the scene with the Nigeria U17.

”Musa is still developing hence Nigerians should expect more from him. The regular run of games he enjoyed in Bulgaria has helped his development and I’m sure he will pick it up from there next season”, he concluded.
