docadams:Wow! Am sure you are lauding thyself thinking you have made sense in this despicable, shameful and pathetic write-up. You call yourself a doctor, and deem yourself worthy to be among the enlightened yet you use the misgivings of a few to label the lot.... You even have the temerity to exclaim 'what a people'? When these same people demand for secession you join to shout blue murder. Negro, please get off that high horse and get some life lessons in objectivity! |

wakaman:The BPP is an branch of the executive arm the federal government, charged with the responsibility of ensuring compliance with pre contractual negotiations and cost benefit analysis of Federal government projects. This body should conduct its business in such a way that government projects are contracted with due diligence checks while not standing as an obstacle to the start or implementation of projects. But tribal politics has killed this country, the BPP has obviously refused to do its job in this instance because of obvious reasons which I have mentioned above in other posts. The federal government is supposed to have pushed the hands of the BPP to perform, only that the 5% rule is being applied. |

BankeSmalls:So you know this? And you were arguing. The only thing you just added is that Fg should have pushed the hands of the BPP, what else is called cohesion? And please what 5% rule are you talking about? |

Angelfrost:We all know that data is cheap but the east is not and can never be divided when it comes to presidential voting patterns We are a people who share the same history, language, culture, religion, you name it Buhari cannot win a state in the east! |
| Re: FG Hasn’t Awarded 2nd Niger Bridge Contract —Reps C’ttee by Angelfrost(m): 10:23am On May 24, 2018 |
SoNature:My good man, am not in an argumentative mood this morning... But, for the sake of argument let's assume you are correct on the unity of the entire East, how does that severely derail or even impede Buhari's victory from the unanimous votes of the North, and certainly massively divided votes from the Tinubu-worshipping West??! We are talking simple statistics here. |

The case of Second Niger Bridge was the same thing that happened on Onitsha (Onicha) - Owerri road The contract award of the second Niger bridge is seen only by those supporting PMB, those supporting PMB have started using the bridge/road already while those that does support PMB in reality have not seen work done up to 20% and they resident within the environment the bridge is calmed to be on going. |

3 years and counting haba mana! Within that time 2 full bridges can be built simultaneously. What kind of go-slow is this government practicing. |

It is very unfortunate that the North and South West that has been ruling Nigeria don't want the people of SE/SS to have this second Niger bridge done, which will ease traffic at the bridge head of Onitsha and Asaba axis, it is too bad. And Igbo and other South South politicians are not helping matters. |

joudini:Can't you see you're the confused buffoon here?... The bit of the report I quoted stated that the "construction being done by Julius Berger was part of early earth works", the report then went further to say "it was not part of the building of the bridge". So I asked, if the early works aren't part of the bridge as Mazi Okechukwu claims, what exactly is Julius Berger working on? Daura supermarket? @Oga Joudini, English language isn't so difficult (at least for Nigerians who have passed through secondary school). That you are sentimentally aligned to any particular political side isn't a reason you must send your brain cells responsible for English comprehension on vacation. Honorable Okechukwu obviously made the contradictory statement to excite rampaging clowns like yourself. |

wakaman:am sure she meant the 98/5% rule. BPP should go and burn. where's BPP when buhari was awarding railway contract from abuja to daura and then to niger republic? |
| Re: FG Hasn’t Awarded 2nd Niger Bridge Contract —Reps C’ttee by joudini(m): 12:48pm On May 24, 2018 |
obailala:Understandably, you lack any sort of critical thinking. Listen, you dummy, in project construction, tasks are broken into columns or stages, to aid effective management. Earth works, especially considering a project of this magnitude and scale, is the elementary stage: soil test, analysis and balancing. If reading with comprehension is your forte, you'd see that the "earth work" column alone is broken into four stages, with JB still at ground zero. It is a display of your ignorance to imagine that earth works denote bridge building. Sit your ignorant ass down and read up on what you don't understand. This clown does not realize the project gap between earth works and bridge structures (which is the context of the Rep's quote) hahahahahaha. I won't soil my keypad further by quoting the other filth. |

Angelfrost:I'm not interested in whether he wins or not because he's useless to me. I just needed to debunk ur comment about the east. The east has been voting for the PDP for presidential race since 1999 |
| Re: FG Hasn’t Awarded 2nd Niger Bridge Contract —Reps C’ttee by obailala(m): 12:59pm On May 24, 2018 |
joudini:Oga stop embarrassing yourself even whilst trying to brag about your understanding of contractual or construction processes. From the onset I was referring to the contradictory statement deliberately made by Hon. Okechukwu to twist sentimental lazy minds like yours into excitement. The preliminary earth works being done are a part of the overall bridge project so quit trying to squeeze out an argument from dry matter. You cannot build a bridge without carrying out the preliminary engineering works taking place now, a bridge isn't just the flat surface which you drive on, so it amounts to sheer ignorance for anyone to try and argue that the ongoing works aren't a part of the 2nd Niger bridge project. Hon Okechukwu obviously isn't the ignorant one here cos he only made a political statement for the sake of sensationalism to bait lazy minds; the ignorant ones are those on this thread masturbating in excitement. |

pedrilo:You are not correct. He was a star. He proved something in the Nigerian polity - that working for the people pays and that has been the root of progress in Anambra up until today. Gov Obi towed the line and the result is clear. Gov Willie continued the culture. Ngige saga dealt a heavy blow on god-fatherism politics. |

What is in this 2nd Niger Bridge no President wants the work completed since 1999. Igbos are watching closely. It will get to a point where people of SE will organise and take off aand see to the completion of the project. Enough is enough. Must everything is politics in Nigeria? too bad! |

jukwaaju:That's exactly how Owerri airport was built and recently, that's the mode adopted for Enugu airport runway upgrade that saw to it being an international airport. If the clumsy, incompetent and nepotistic Buhari govt can hand it to South East region, it will be done in a jiffy |
