I will be submitting my documents at the Spanish embassy. my company is sponsoring me on a conference trip, I also have around 650k in my account to back my company own. hope they won't deny me? based on the small amount in my bank account. pls your advice is highly needed.

The hotel and flight reservations were booked on-hold by my Travel agent to be confirmed at a later date after I must have received my Visa. I travelled to Barcelona, Spain and I'm back.

I am married however I think if you are able to submit enough documentary proof, they will grant you your Visa. They think same of every Nigerian whether married or single.

when you say booked on hold as per the flight , do you mean the ticket was not issued ?
Please I need clarity on it as i have conflicting information that your flight reservation has to have been paid for to apply .

oh I see... on bls website they were asking for extra 15days insurance after ur stay in Spain... how true is this?? plus how many days insurance did you buy? and how long did you stay in Spain??

First, visit their website as he rightly said to find out the requirements your brother needs. He even stated the Visa fee and gave you additional info on Travel Insurance.

No mind am. His type are the ones that Yahoo guys take to the cleaners. He is probably under the spell of that fake agent that told his brother to bring N1.3m.

Visitor's visa to Shenghen area na 3 months naaa. Besides, what kind of work are you supposed to be doing? The process is that you apply for a job in a company. If they take you after conducting online interview, they will arrange your employment permits from the relevant govt ministry in Spain. Language proficiency is almost like a must for working there.

So what exactly is the agent supposed to do?

U can no blame most of this people... Most applicant don't have good SOA... So dey don't have choice... If u have all require document plus statement... U can't spent up to 100k in all and get ur visa

My agent told me that 6 million naira can be deposited into my account say few days to go and the bank statement printed out and that all the embassy wants is to see the closing balance of 6 million naira, I don't know how true this is. I was thinking the 6 million naira should be the closing balance for every month in the last 6 months.
Please anyone with reliable information should kindly help me clarify this.

I know UK requires that for every month the closing balance should be the required amount but on hearing this about Spain i was unsure about it so i came here to nairaland to verify how true it is, if that's how it goes for Spain.

No its not how it works, you need to also show how you made that 6m, either through paid employment or business else you will not get a visa
