She's very correct. All Xiaomi devices gets updated regularly. And Infact, you can as well move on to dev rom & update weekly. I've got @least 3 updates since just over a month I started using it.

As for USB, you're correct. Though, the phone is Q.C 2.0 enabled (i.e it fast charge). But Camera is one of the best @least amongst almost all Xiaomi's midrange devices so far

I found a way to solve touch screen problems or ghost touches.

* Get a lighter
* Open the lighter (remove the ignitor and find a way to open the lighter)
* Put few droplets of the gas on the screen.

Viola!!!

Yea there is a solution

Download app clone from playstore.

Clone the apk of the modern combat. Rename it to your choice and install that cloned apk. It will install.

@febbymi, once had the same problem as yours but what I did was to return it back as flashing and reflashing a new rom didn't solve the problem.. Like someone said if you had noticed the problem right out of the box, you should have at least find a way to be compensated.

The only correct info here is the USB type B. Well, check YouTube for camera comparison between the Redmi note 5 and the Infinix zero 5 if you are so concerned about camera. As for other comparisons, there is no device yet from Infinix to match this phone, maybe if the Zero 6 or 7 cones with Helio P60 /70 processor. Here goes a link for your comparison, note that the Redmi note 5 is called the Redmi note 5 pro in Indian.
