Have you been living on this earth for some years now? Because I am sure it was not Muslims that were criticising one of Lady gaga''s song and music video (let me remember the song) and Rihanna''s met gala outfit.

I think I like your selective amnesia.

Show me one Catholic who came to cry on social media because he/she saw a sister's veil or a priest's robe in a music video.

You are off point. Muslims do not criticise Jesus nor would they enjoy Jesus bashing. The point of disagreement is Jesus being the son of God and that is it. However, we won't insult Jesus. It is a sin. A Muslim believe and respects all God prophets. Jesus is considered as a prophet and one of the five important prophets. We respect him and anytime his name his mentioned, we say a little prayer for him.

You are not familiar with history and current events and Unfortunately for you, I am not in the mood to argue with an ignoramous.

Why do you people come up with the 'true muslim' cap, the fact is that the people who do all these bombings and blasphemies are muslims

This is false equivalency. LOL. Both Lady Gaga and Rihanna sexualised Catholic/Christian iconography. Emphasis on "sexualised." It is easy to understand why some people will be offended by that (I am not, by the way.) Falz did not sexualise the hijab. Those girls were properly covered and were not doing any dirty erotic dancing. The last time I checked with learned Islamic scholars, women dancing together is not haram, as long as they are not revealing certain body parts or making sensuous moves. So what exactly is insulting/degrading/offensive in the video. I will really like to know.

Being offended by that will be like a Catholic being offended by nuns clean-dancing to "How do you solve a problem like Maria" in Sound of Music.

Again show me an example of Catholics being offended by simple unsexualised depiction of nuns and priests in music or media generally. Gaga and Rihanna don't count; those two went out of their way to spark controversy by eroticising Catholic iconography.

[By the way, the Catholic Church itself approved the Met Gala, in case you didn't know]

Choices. It is the beauty of freedom. I am not saying women should be forced to wear the hijab. Don't insult the hijab, the wearers and the lady that expressed her opinion without harm. Read and understand undecided

You can argue constructively without degrading the religion. I do not see why other people's religious apparels and opinions should be your headache.

1) note Muhammed is the last prophet
Many people belief that Muhammad started Islam, but rather that's false.

Muslims believe in all the prophets and messengers to be Muslims like "Adam", Noah, Abraham(Ibrahim), , jesus (Isa), Muhammad and all of them...So Islam was around since time began... so wats r u talking abt bro Adam nd Hawau were Muslims .

Your bad if you are not aware of the criticisms. There are Christians who don't like it and who come out to say so. Also, it is your choice to keep mute about those depictions. I am a Muslim and I don't think it is right. A Muslim that decides to speak up when it concerns her religion should not be your headache. She did not ask you not to speak up.

Well, those Christians are as silly and as oversensitive as this Muslim lady here. How about that? undecided

And by the way, Family Guy? Seth McFarlane's Family Guy? You just keep bringing deliberately taunting examples because you really cannot find true equivalents, don't you? Lady Gaga and Rihanna were not the first people to use Christian symbols in secular music/circumstances. They got negative attention for a reason and you know it.

Tired of this back-and-forth sha, so e go be.

I don't know it. I know that some Christians don't like it.

Thank you for admitting that some Christians don't like it when their symbols are used as art and entertainment. When Muslims do that, it is not your business.

Music and instrumentals are forbidden in Islam not to talk of dancing.

And you said he didn't sexualize Ijab.... meaning it could as well be regarded as being Godly.

My question is would you invite Falz to your church to perform that bullshit on stage? after all there's nothing wrong in it

The Emirs are never the standards for Islamic Religious practice.

Muslims are not Christians that follow the teachings of their pastors or leaders.

Worse still follow their oversimplified or misinterpreted content of their scripture.

We follow the teaching of religion as it is prescribed.

Are you blind or just cant read?

He said 'The Nuns", from Catholicsm, which preceeds Islam by thousands of years, have been wearing Hijab, (as a dress code culture) so you cant claim that dress code whuch you call Hijab, belongs to Islam.

So, if Islam came thousands of year slater and decide to adopt the same dress code, what has Bible got to do with that?

Anyone or any organisation can decide to dress the way they like, that is their choice but they cannot exclude others from dressing the same way or using that dress code as they also deem fit.

Islam is just too violent and intolerant, a religion invented, preached and enforced using murder and all sorts of violence.
Dont mind, l know you delude yourself that it is a religion of Piss.
From what you wrote, I can conclude you lack courtesy. You can go on advertising your ignorancy...

As I said in one of my earlier posts, despite knowing the truth some still choose to follow their heart desire. There is nothing like Islamic song... at least with instrumentals. Little kids could however have songs/lulaby but not with instrumentals.

We keep learning everyday, we learn till we die.

The problem here, is that u are not thinking correctly. Faz did not sexualize the hijab doesn't mean that it's a godly song. Sexuality is not the only thing that's not godly, it's just a secular song about the problem of Nigeria.
U are really really dumb tho, for u to think because something is not sexual related then it's godly.

I think Falz did the wrong thing.

In an environment like Nigeria where religious issues are readily vaporized, his wisdom should have told him not to meddle with such a thing.

Ijab is the dignity of Islam.

I wouldn't be suprised at the level of criticism that will come his way soon!

By and large he didn't apply wisdom!
But Biko haram that deploy female suicide bombers wearing hijab is dignifying enough ba?

I strongly believe you made lots of sense with your comment. Religion was meant to unit but it's among the greatest divisible element of the 21st century. You would agree with me that Falz addressed key issues bedevilling our country Nigeria, but the lady never acknowledged the intent of Falz rather she made the Hijab her focal point.

I am a Christian so I am not trying to be sentimental. Shalom. Ramadan Kareem to you and other Muslims.
